I don’t really get 151-purists. It’s like not wanting any new Street Fighters beyond the original 8 world warriors.
Generally (and I put that in italics because there are those who have played the newer games and dislike the Pokemon in them) 151 Purists are people who haven’t played a Pokemon game since RBY or possibly GSC. Either that, or people who just parrot them. Not calling anyone out or anything.
I will concede though that some of BW’s designs are really ugly. But like I said, Jynx.
And Dragonite, Dragonite is shit. And i’m not complaining because I was let on thinking I was goin to get a cool sleek Sea Serpent to be the counter to Gyrado beastly design.
Been having trouble find people to play with using Hamachi and Lunaport…so anyone wants to play??? -shrug-
Im on a mac so I cant play this but what lopunny like and ive yet to see anyone playing this game vs someone else… Ive yet to see any oki, resets, zoning or rushdown
“I haven’t touched a Pokemon game since '99, but I know that the new games are stupid and all the Pokemon are too,” seems to be the attitude among people I know that haven’t played them in a long time. Then again, when I saw that they had the massive brass balls to actually name something “Monferno,” I had to wonder if they had a point.
The main problem is that people decided that it was just a fad for little kids and abandoned it. I shouldn’t have to to shamefully mutter that I like one of the greatest RPG games of all time like I’m admitting to liking Teletubbies.
I’m sad to hear that Swalot is terrible. I’m still going to try to play him when I get this thing working.
EDIT: I got it working, and I’m going to be up all night trying to figure out why there’s a Pinsir inside Swalot.
I got xpadder and it looks like I managed to configure my buttons on it but when I open up the game the stick won’t work but the buttons do. any help?
Did you configure your stick?
options > game > checkbox at bottom.
“Monferno” is a perfectly fine name. Monkey Inferno evolves into Inferno Ape.
It’s a fuckton better than “Bayleef”.
