GGs, Martian. I can see that you’re really getting the hang of competitive battling. You almost 6-0’d me the first match lol. Just work on your team building and moveset choices. As it is, your teams have too many common weaknesses and not enough coverage. Other than that, your plays and predictions are improving. I would play more but, I was literally falling asleep while playing… I need to go to bed.

Sun teams naturally have a disadvantage to Sandstorm teams… Its always an uphill climb.
I generally don’t give much teambuilding advice, as I find its better to learn on your own by experimenting and playing, but I will help with sets and general strategy.

Haha…no. Kricketune is horrible. I remember literally gaping at how bad it was when it was first introduced. Technician is one of the better abilities, but it’s not one of those abilities that instantly makes a crappy pokemon good no matter what like Moody or Speed Boost or Skill Link. Technician only really means anything if the pokemon in question a) already has at least average stats, b) has a movepool that can make use of it, especially in the form of priority, and c) has good offensive typing for STAB. Good defensive typing with decent defensive stats is also potentially acceptable for Technician.
Kricketune doesn’t have any of that. At all.
Literally the only thing Kricketune gets that nothing else gets is Technician Fell Stinger…for 45 power before STAB off of 85 attack. Umm yay. Anything else it could do with Technician, Scizor, the Ubiquitous Pokemon, can do literally half a dozen times better given all the other stuff Scizor gets to do with Technician that Kricketune can’t and Scizor’s far better typing and stats.
Gamefreak just needs to give it another evolution–Bug/Fairy, please–or at least give it Soundproof as an ability. That way it could at least become a unique phaser with one-sided Perish Song if nothing else, which would mean it actually would have a purpose unlike the utter piece of crap it is now.
Well, yeah. Crawdaunt’s stat distribution is actually fair, so it has flaws unlike a bunch of shit we’ve gotten since then, especially in Generation V, that it now has to also contend with. I just finished building a team with it that tries to make use of double screens, so we’ll see how that goes.
i was so disappointed Po, that timburr you gave me was sheerforce! but i manage to get a HA one from GTS no in the process of egg move breeding then the attempt for IV breeding.
on that note:
@EveryFlowerFlow i’d like to be added to your ditto clone list as well please. I just want a full team at this point, i have actively stop all breeding at 4IV as its so tedious so a 6 iv ditto would be welcomed.
Has anyone been breeding Inkay? if so can i have one please? Not sure on which nature is best bold/calm? ,so just a IV spread HP/DEF/SDef/SPD (optional).
Also have they ever retro actively release legendary for the current gen? I really like to get those swords of justice guys particularly Virizion.
