If I’m gonna play this game, I want a cast I like… One that’s not filled with throwaway Pokémon and could’ve beens. I got Pikachu, Scizor, and Darkrai, so I’m content for now. Waiting for Infernape and Blastoise.
I like how Croagunk seems to toss random items at people with its Fling attack (I’m hoping it’s Fling), ranging from a tiny Everstone, to a Toxic Orb, to gigantic ball of debris(possibly Gunk Shot).
Also seems to boost itself by using Swagger, in a complete subversion of it’s mechanics in the mainline Pokemon games.

Fact of the matter is, Pokemon is an extremely simple to understand, yet massively deep game that has over 20 years of mechanics and knowledge behind it.
First learn how to play it at a basic, simple level, create your own teams and strategies, and slowly work your way up from there. Yeah, it’s not speedy, or pretty, but that is the best way to learn.
Or, listen to the Smogon jerks, copy/paste teams without really knowing how or why they work, and then complain when something from outside their little sphere of influence blows that shit up.
