Yeah, if a Pokemon faints it’s considered dead.
I picked the wrong game to try this.
FireRed/LeafGreen and Platinum have the VS. Seeker, and Black/White XY have the Lucky Egg, but Emerald doesn’t really have any good training options.
Not only that, but in the old games it takes forever for your Pokemon to learn moves, and even longer to learn any good moves.
That moment you put together and playtest a night march deck only to realize you built Pookas exact deck list subconsciously.
Fuck.
I think PLS Flareon would be really good in the deck but there is just no damn room for stuff like that. Plus the damage output from it just isn’t enough unless it’s against Virizion/Genesect. Quad Pyroar still stops it in its tracks.
It set up pretty fast, if it gets going it can run thru much stuff.
problem is if i dont set up within turn 3 or 4 and there playing garb im screwed. Im comfortable with this build. I’ll try the variants in a later time.
honestly, the only reason it could not be OU is because it’s competing with so many megas that are pretty damn good as well like mega mence, mega zard, mega metagross, mega swampert, etc.
it’s really good but there are still megas that are better
you shitting me? that shit belongs to ubers, crazy defenses, good speed tier, godly stabs, mixed good movepool. Only thing that you could complain is somewhat not godly defense typing (although rock helps it also cripples him a little bit)
Mega Mawile, Mega Gengar, Mega Kanga, Mega Lucario, and Aegislash banned…smogon can die. ORAS is going to be a ban fest too
EDIT: Been a long time since I familiarized myself with these Smogon clauses. Moody banned, Swaggar banned, and only 1 baton pass allowed. I hate this shit already.
(All this Pokemon TCG talk with any actual information of what you guys are fucking talking about made me finally look it up again after more than a decade of not paying attention to it. Thanks, assholes.)
I mean, geez, I think the last time I paid attention to it was when Metal/Steel Pokemon were just getting introduced, which was apparently quite a while ago. I know for a fact that the last time I actually played it was even longer ago, while I was still in the latter parts of grammar school. EXs, Megas and two new types aside, it doesn’t seem much has changed actually.
Yes. It has a lot less surprisingly, though that’s probably because a lot less people play it, though I’m sure there’s like a cyclical effect there given how “lawless” it is compared to how restricted singles play is on PS.
it’s voted for by their players and outside of aegislash, the votes were heavy in favor of banning (aegis just made the minimum to get banned, the rest were at least 75% in favor of banning)
the only 2 i’m seeing right now that could get banned are mega mence and the new greninja (gunk shot on this thing is stupid) and greninja is a big iff. mega mence is getting the ban, that this is fucking ridiculous
like holy shit…mega mence is a fucking stupid ass poke
