Pokemon General Discussion Thread - It's Lit(ten)!

You poor bastard… I would have turned my GBA off at that point.

Here’s a deal, you can have the odd limited edition we get in exchange for the American NISA store and Atlus giving a shit about the continent we live on.

Sound fair?

Holy shit apparently another form of Rayquaza is being announced.

He gets Aerilate and of course a boost in Atk and SpAtk…

SD ES Quaza gonna be so much fun

@Mood4food77, told you they were gonna do it…

In other news… An event Shiny Gengar is on its way. It has Sludge Wave.

…In Japan.

I feel like that is an important thing to note.

Yea, true. It won’t be too much trouble for us to get our hands on if it doesn’t come stateside, however, and this means the move will be legal to use on Showdown.

Po wanna play random battles (on PS)?

Eww… Showdown is gay.

I’m actually in the middle of a wi-fi thing now, so I can’t get on RNG-is-fuckedDown… Perhaps another time?

ok, but for the record even if the rng is messed up, it’s the same conditions for both players (except that last game against Mood lol)

Once it hits give it about a week itll be on powersaves

it was literally, FUCK YOU LOCO, YOU WILL NOT BEAT MOOD! missed 3 moves in a row.

at least rayquaza is already Ubers cause that thing is going to be fucking retarded. Aerilate ExtremeSpeed? and you guys though Xerneas was good

There is no such thing as a special, one-of-a-kind Pokémon anymore. Everybody gotta have everything that comes out.

This is why those idiots over there think Wish Chansey/Blissey with flawless stats is okay in non-simulator play.

Oh please, I’ve been frozen by Ice Beam just as frequently on both. Hell I think I’ve been frozen MORE on Wifi.

They fixed the freeze Rng it was known

Giratina… Frozen in Carbonite…

NEVAR FORGET.

lol, like that shit mattered anyway. Your ass was toast the second you saw your team. Sorry you didn’t pick the right captain bro.

Rayquaza form?

Source?

I guess this doesn’t really go here, but I wanted to share.
I have been playing Pokemon since Gen I, and today for the first time I caught a shiny Pokemon.
Now I’m not counting the easy ones, but I actually ran into this one in the wild.
It was a Bellsprout. In the past I once encountered a shiny Ducklett, but naturally I knocked it out with a critical hit.

Is this actually true? I’ve always felt hax and crits occurred waaaaay more frequently on Showdown than on cartridge but never had any proof.

They JUST RECENTLY fixed their broken Freeze/Unfreeze mechanics, but stuff like Scald being a near 100% Burn are still rampant.

As someone who has regularly played on both Showdown and the actual games, I will say that hell yes, Showdown’s RNG is trash.
