Real Talk though I feel like Kanga is balanced and without her Zard x is next in line for best mega physical attackers unboosted return does 230 bp (figuring parental bond+STAB) for kanga while unboosted outrage/fireblitz do 198 (figuring toughclaws+STAB) so while theres a bit of a gap in the base damage they do zard x has the ability to do supereffective hits with its stab, has 5 more points in attack, 11 more In defense and 30 more in sdef so it hasthe potential to run a mixed attacking set as well. Has way more resistances. Zard also has the mindfuck potential to be either evolution and depending on your team com you can really throw people off with that. All in all once I get a spinner Iāve already planned to switch mega khan for zard X I think theres a lot more Zard X can add to a team
Oh⦠thatās unfortunate; didnāt know Analytical Starmie wasnāt in the game yet. Thanks for the heads up. I know Starmie doesnāt generally go second (cus itāll probably be dead), but having the extra power on switch-ins is nice. Better than having Natural Cure for my team.
Natural Cure prevents Starmie from being toxi-stalled to death or if statused, itās able to heal if its running defensive stats.
His defenses are 60/85/85, which isnāt too shabby at all, and it learns rapid spin. Analytic and Natural Cure are equally as useful on a starmie because a Starmie is kind of frail(but give it some leftovers and defensive stats and it can last for a while) from the jump.
If I was running a life orb, special attacker set, I would run Analytic.
If Iām running a bulky spinner set, Iām rolling with natural cure.
Yeah I am aware of the benefits of both abilities and what builds benefit them. However, my build is the Lifeorb build, so I just gotta deal with it until Pokebank comes out. ;(
iād run natural cure over analytic on starmie, starmie is really too fast to run analytic and natural cure gives you a good amount more switch-ins and doubles over as a status absorber, which is incredibly useful on a spinner
also to add to my list of reasons im switching to zard x is rotom w. once I get hit with wil o wisp its a wrap khan is useless zard x tho is neutral to hydro pump and cant get burned.
which is why Prankster Sableye counters Mega Kanga. priority WoW to shut down its sweeping by negating atk and burning it allows you to stall it out a bit. Canāt PuPād or S tossed so EQ usually is what they pack to handle your sableye. I just donāt like it cause itās too damn weak. Priority mach punch/vacuum wave take it out so long as itās faster though just weakening it by any means helps.
I want freeze mechanics to change and to have ways to make a special ver of intimidate happen.
khan isnāt useless if he gets burned, he can still get to +2 (which is the same as if he wasnāt burned and no boosts) and still deal a fuckton of damage, his return deals upwards of 70% to any non physically defensive rotom:

to my surprise, a burned +2 mega kanga does deal less damage, but the amount of damage seems so minimal to the point where you can just ignore it, but yea, a burned mega kanga is definitely not useless as that is still doing a crapload of damage
but megazard X is pretty dope, itās surprisingly bulky and has great versatility as it can run DD all physical or go mixed, it actually runs a special sweeper set very well, itās a great wall breaker, just beware, itās typing isnāt that good (being weak to rock, ground, fairy, and dragon is not a good thing especially when the first 2 are very common) and regular zard has a hard time coming in especially with rocks out, but zard X isnāt an instant win against rotom-w, you need to be at least +1 and have to use outrage (which we all know has quite a few drawbacks) and thereās always that haxy event where he could paralyze you with tbolt
iām not saying zard x is bad, i think you should just find something better to deal with rotom and not use it as a reason for using zard x over mega kanga

In what way do you want Freeze mechanics to change? I never used to be bothered by it since it was relatively rare (even with Boltbeamās 3 gen popularity), but after getting 3 of my Pokemon frozen in succession and many close calls with my walls getting frozen, I really thing Freeze effects needs a revamping.
Oh and Iām with you with the special Intimidate, I actually mentioned that before gen 6 if you remember?
@Mood4Food Mega Charizard-X is actually neutral to Fairy due to the Fire typing. Save for Ground types, Dragon/Fire offense keeps much of Xās weaknesses at bay since very few things can switch in or stay in after it gets a Dragon/ Sword Dance.
Ghastly doesnāt get shadow tag. In fact, Ghastly doesnāt even have a hidden ability. You only get Shadow Tag via Mega Gengar, otherwise itās Levitate only for Ghastly/Haunter/Gengar.
