I still need to catch a Swirlix for the Slurpuff, catch a Carbink, and get a Sachet for the Aromatisse. Thought I had them but I don’t so it’ll be a bit.

I have a shiny Clawitzer that’s been defensively EV trained and knows some pulse moves & Heal Pulse. IVs are meh IIRC.

Meowstic is a funny pokemon to use. Just had the battle mansion whip out the female one out while I switched into my salamence, then competitive kicked in and I cried.

on filling the national dex you only need 718? which pkm dont count towards the shiny charm?

follow up on quickest leveling up

The fastest place to level in the history of pokemon is the 3 star restaurant I think le wow? O-power lvl 3 exp, lucky egg rotation battle and have the two pokemon you want to level in slot 2 and 3

this will get pkm 2 and 3 to lvl 50 during the second ‘sit down’ at le wow with only double eggs, which takes the sting out of ;
fully ev train a pkm, then level up to 50, finally use it, wrong ability! I didnt activate opower, i dont have lvl 3 xp gain anyway.

Personally I use Black Writ of Challenge + Silver Writ of Invitation at the Battle Chateau. (It says that only the last writ that you send is in effect but these two stack). You get a steady stream of trainers coming in until the writs wear off (midnight), like one every minute or so, and the Black Writ buffs their levels up by 20. So the lowest you get are the Barons at 35, the highest goes up to…80 I believe when the champion shows up there. Gives you a good amount of experience, and with an amulet coin you can easily make back the investment for the initial writs, and then some (depending on how long you want to go).

Not to mention the Furisode Girls that show up always have full teams of Audinos. The Duchess’ have 3 either at levels 65 or 70.

It’s a more expensive investment at first but it’s more rewarding in the long term since you only need to pay for the writ once and you can keep going until midnight of that day. You need to hit the rank of Grand Duke/Duchess there first in order to use the Black Writ of Challenge though, but the Silver Writ for the constant stream of trainers should be available to you much sooner.

GGs @Phantom! I was wondering what item you had on that guy. I was really shocked that your Scald didn’t kill my Volcarona. Maybe switch it to pump?
I didn’t realize til the start of the 2nd battle that my team was almost entirely bugs. I think I’ll try all bugs and see how that goes. I’ve gotten tons of mileage out of Yanmega, so I’ll have to give it a shot.

I want to say it could be a used in a stall team, dragon tailing things to get the poison touch going, but having adaptability with draco is always nice, oh well guess I breed one and give it a go.

Anybody ever try using Dragalge against Lucario? I imagine it would be a situation similar to Tentacruel as far as walling the special set, and its Defense looks like it could hold up to the physical ones as well… has Haze and Dragon Tail for eliminating its stat boosts… Hmmmm…
