Just noticed this now, but can someone please explain the whole sponsorship thing as I’m really interested.
GameStop sponsorship, meaning there may be donations of prizes (gift cards, shirts, door prizes, etc.), not sponsorship in the sense you might be thinking about.

I hope you realize that there was no official tourney for Tenka at FRX. You played casuals and beat people up. And yes you beat my ass with Mizuki and Amakusa. I’ll give you that but that’s about it. No one really knows how to play Tenka in the US. For the week we did play it, we found some silly shit and we’ll use it on you. I don’t wanna make excuses for my poor performance at FRX in Tenka but I didn’t even remember what the grooves were or what they did. Hell I didn’t even remember what the buttons were or how to throw till the middle of some of the sets. I want to re-learn everything so I can prove to you that TRIAD is supreme in the new age of SNK. TRIAD will take over!

Geese, we NEVER play Neowave. Stop pushing the fact that you’re better than us at a game that I for one have NEVER played. We don’t play SST at all either, but we have played it, and therefore will practice up for this tournament in an attempt to win that $100.
How about we also do a first to 5 for $100 over the three games in XI, NGBC, and SST - person with the most overall victories wins? We’ll play Tenka first to keep it interesting. Triad got my back? :wgrin:
