YES, they WILL be serving food (confirmed today), even though the place is closed to the public - the entire back of the restaruant will be the smoking area/eating area/SNK and Smash area. Sorry, no alcohol - it is a Sunday, and we have blue laws

ALL TOURNAMENTS EXCEPT Super Turbo WILL START AT 1:00 provided everything goes smoothly. The reason? Those that traveled long distances and have to drive back that don’t make the cut can leave and not miss anything they want to play - I try to be considerate of everyone’s schedules, and as it is a Sunday, many have to work the next day. If you’ve ever been to one of my tournaments, then you know this usually works out great. ST will start as soon as 3rd Strike is over.

YOU MUST CONTACT ME IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT BY 1:00!!! Most all of you know somebody that knows somebody that has my cell number (Larry, Leigh, Josh (Icege), any of the Anderson guys, June, etc.) and they can let me know. Or call someone that is already there. As a last resort, the number for the restaurant is 864-224-6140 - if you call, ask for “JUNIOR” THEN have him get me. If you do not let me know that you are going to be late, you may be passed over - I will skip around in the brackets if we need to, but we have a lot of people to get through, so don’t be mad! You have been warned!

ANYONE BRINGING SETUPS (CONSOLES AND TV’s) OR BOARDS WILL GET THEIR ROOM FEES WAVED. You will still have to pay the $5 for each tournament as it goes to the pot, but your $3 room fees will be waved at least once, maybe more depending on what you bring. THIS IS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE! If you want to donate a setup to the cause, be at the restaurant some time between 10 and 12 AM on Sunday - I will be starting setups at 10:00 - ONLY PEOPLE CONTRIBUTING SETUPS will be allowed to come in before 12:00, unless it’s a situation where a friend rode, etc. - this is so that I can make sure people pay at the door, and I don’t have to hunt anybody down to get money, thus slowing down the progress, causing the tournaments to start later, etc.

Bracket runners will also have their fees waved, but I think they know that. I think we have all the brackets covered, but just in case - if you want to run a bracket, check with me when you come in the front door and if I have the need, you may.
