Sony have such a huge library of character to choose from that quite frankly Im surprised they are talking about adding third party characters. But I guess sony also have a large selection of third party characters that are almost synonymous with the console so it makes sense.
Can’t wait to see more of this game, should be fun seeing how it develops over time and how(or if) a competitive scene develops for the game. Not sure how the whole hypers being the only way to kill thing is gonna work out but its still early in development so ill reserve my judgement.
I’ll see what I can do.
I’m now expecting a character in this game to have an Ouroburos type super, lol.

What surprises me (but really, it shouldn’t) is that there seems to be a group of fans who don’t want this to be designed to be competitive.

Dunno. Searching around for possible comedy/scrubquotes, I did see some disdainful comments on GFAQs as well as one guy from Smashboards who was arguing that the attempts to make it closer to a 2D fighter would make it suck (which IMO is pure bung, one of the things I am looking forward to in this game is how Maj, Ed and co. apply their 2D fighting know how to make it properly competitive).
P.S. Sadly, aside from that, I didn’t find any scrubquotes worthy lolz.

Maybe we could pass along the suggestion of turning stage hazards off?
Why is it that everyone wants every game released to be as close to the street fighter rules as possible? Why can’t the game just be what it is instead of trying to appease the “competitive crowd” (and i use that term VERY LIGHTLY) by making it what it’s not.

It can be competitive without being like SF but I think he just meant making nothing broken.
You should’ve seen some of the comments defending DmC. Somebody didn’t like knowing people could do combo videos type of stuff in DMC games and want and were hopeful DmC would not allow that type of stuff.
In my experience, casuals have more fun with ssb64 and meelee than brawl. It’s not like being competitive makes it unfun for casuals.

I would totally play as Cole. Never played his game but his powers are interesting to me.
I totally playing Cole I love Imfamous. I hope they also get Spyro and Crash but I really want Nariko in this game because she was an awesome character.
If this game brings back Sir Daniel Fortesque himself, then I’m all for it (even though I don’t have a PS3, hah).
