I heard that! >< Since when am I treated like the laughing stock around here?

I want to see a Skype call between affinity and Jim Sterling discussing upcoming releases in video games. They each get to pick 3 games, and they explain to the other what’s good about it and why they should play it. Entertainment gold.

Also maybe affinity is easier to understand in a vocal context, as opposed to a written one. An AKUMA-HAX post makes more sense to me bro. And most of his posts are like free form poetry with gifs and photoshopped images

@affinity recommend me some indies. @orochizoolander has failed me in that regard.

well I dont recommend, I just share news media for things Im hyped for. no game is for everyone, so I dont recommend or push people to get a certain game, just “this game is so epic for those that agree and like that kind of game, might be worth a look” sort of thing. people should make their own decisions whether they are interested or not and if its right for theirself.

battlegrounds seem to be the modern gaming trend, though yea some still prefer KOTK.

WHY DOES THIS GAME LOOK AND PLAY EXACTLY LIKE H1Z1, WHICH LOOKS AND PLAYS EXACTLY LIKE DAYZ, BOTH OF WHICH ARE A KNOCK OF OF RUST, WHICH ITSELF IS JUST A SHITTY RE-IMAGINING OF THE RPGS MODS OF CS 1.6 I USED TO PLAY BACK IN 2003?

Is there any depth to these games? Like can you make actual traps and craft or is it all just randomly running around looking for weapons and ammo?

Also I am legit surprised manx doesn’t like it since the graphics are so shit…

Nigga, I’m seriously considering playing this Everquest legacy league that starts at the original game and goes through Planes of Power. That shit is gonna be leet as fuck!

Or you can take some time out of your busy shit posting schedule and get your shit together for ayo’s campaign.

Yeah, I’ve neglected that. Sorry @“AYO?!” I need to get shit together before I swap back to day shift next week.

Rock says he will be ready to play in a month lol.

a Street Fighter pro wouldn’t last 10 seconds in a battle royale game. games like KOTK and PUBG require higher level of skill and survival tactics than all fighting games combined. the only reason fighting games are popular (besides the player character diversity, which shooters can easily surpass with player created appearance and expandable preset selection), is because fighting games give the illusion of depth with their flashy combos and overcomplicated command inputs, making only the few talented input gamers look like special snowflakes in a structure thats only convenient to them.

with battle royale there is greater true competitive balance.

Capcom should start turning Street Fighter into a battle royale/PUBG/KOTK style series, the story could be that one day Ryu realizes his punches will always be weaker than guns, and then discovers battle royale is the meaning of life, and so organizes Street Fighter Battle Royale and all contestants in their underwear are flown to an island by planes, and parachute down, collect guns, ammo, clothes, backpacks and gear, and try to kill everyone else while aiming to be the last fighter standing.

a trailer showing dozens of street fighter characters on the island, with highlights including Guile fighting clothes to put on, Ryu killing Ken with a shotgun, and Chun Li sniping Cammy in a open world battle royale island, would generate millions of preorders the same day. and it could feature a teams of 5 mode too, bringing social groups to greater levels of entertainment. they would make a holiday out of each battle royale game, and a new greater competitive golden age would come forth.

let’s see, the players cap for a Street Fighter battle royale game, could be at least 90 players, though for street fighters to choose from, well,

well okay it could supports at least 60 players at once for its first game (not counting DLC, they could even add all the Shadowloo Dolls playable). they could call it Street Fighter VI and it would sell even more, it would be praised as the most innovative Street Fighter game ever, and if capcom gives it enough production values, it could generate even more money.

then people would see that battle royale is the ideal evolution of fighting games, it would be glorious. _

Fucking Christ you are dumb as shit. A Fighting game pro wouldn’t do well in this not because fighters have no depth (because they do) but because they are completely different kinds of games. A “Pro” Battlegrounds player wouldn’t do well in a fighter either because it’s a completely different game. Different rules, different enviroment.

Don’t say this kind of stupid shit.

It’s affinity, d00d.
He did the recipe for Jim Jones’ brand of Kool-Aid wrong and as a result of the ensuing brain damage, we’re seeing the results of it on a regular basis.

lol this nigga

Yea you right Bomberman.

Affinity aside, this game is supposedly doing well.

No, there is a difference. fighting games are designed for the 1% that excel the most at command inputs, and tagging the highest damaging combos, that’s what it’s all about. We can play and enjoy fighting games (to some degree), but to think fighting games were made for true balanced competition and true hardcore fighting, is ludicrous.

even the most popular streamers know fighting games (conventional fighting games in particular) are bullshit at their core and only convenient to the arcade pad/stick experts, and hardcore streamers prefer to play REAL balanced competitive games that actually don’t have people jumping over hoops just to be competitive, be good at what they do, and be able to do what they want to do the INSTANT they want to do it. That’s one of the reasons games like Battlegrounds will always be more popular and legit competition than fighting games with their insane gameplay structure that causes most players to fight their controller more than their opponent, which makes fighting games good for nothing other than watching pro streams.

shooter pros would have trouble in fighting game pro tourneys, because of course fighting games handicap players like that. but fighting game pros that get obliterated in shooters like battle royale games, would get destroyed not simply based on skill, but also natural survival strategies and circumstances beyond their control, and those are elements that are exclusive depth to battle royale survival games, on top of the fact these games are more accessible to gamers controller, movement and enviornment freedom wise, among other things, and therefore more fair and highly competitive and more unpredictable. as true competition would be

Yeah, but assfinity shilling over it ain’t helping. I was actually more interested when I saw videos for myself… away from this mess of a topic.

We agree on that much.

This is some GameFAQs level bullshit

Yea Sports aren’t real balanced competitions because you have to practice to be good at them, they favor people who put in the effort.

Shit competition.

More like shit argument. Shooters will always be more popular because you dont have to put in half the effort. They reward lazy people who don’t like to work.

Not saying there sent fps players who don’t put in work cuz they do, but the vast majority of people who play shooters are lazy losers with no drive.
