hi, i’m interested in this tourney. is this every tuesdays? any casuals after that?
^^
1st Danny Pham
2nd Dylan Sentra
3rd ME!!
Just to let u guys kno im thinking about shutting down the tournament next week, give people a chance to get wit me to discuss things, like maybe a major or something
keep us posted on what is going on with it. i would love to stop in soon and see whats up. a major would be pretty sick if we could get a big turn out.
^^ most definitly, there has just been so much going on lately, alot of players have been having real life issues, i really need to start talking wit people more so i can get some people to start committing to come out and i can make a list to post of all thats attending
oh my fucking CAR
Good shit double D’s
Due to changes up top in our corporate we are NOT having the tournament next tuesday, there are major changes that will be coming into playsmart, and now its looking like we have an opportunity to work towards a Monthly Major, Possibly even somthing as big as a regional event… but its all up for discussion and u guys can have a say in how we will move forward:woot:
good meeting you terrance, i look forward to see what you’ve got in the works.
hopefully us people in boregon can come up for some games.
so any one got any up dates on what is happening with this are we still going to have a weekly thing or what is going on.
i remember you doggin on these
Hey sorry about not updating u guys due 2 my 1 week ban from SRK just to let everyone know from now on im not responding to anything negative no more, certain people im just not gonna say nothing to at all…period :china:
Now on to business,
The weekly thing is very draining, even tho it was a constant tournament its hard to expect people 2 spend 10$ every week on what is essentially an off day(tuesday), after my recent trip to portland(shout out to everyone i met out there fun times) i decided to have a new plan, im gonna try to get a tourny on a day everyone can attend, preferably a weekend, also, im gonna try my hardest not to step on other venues toes as far as throwing events on the same day, i honestly believe every venue deserves a shot in the circuit, as long as its all fair anyhow. but as soon as i can get something 2gether ill let u guys know asap
1 more thing, i created an SRK profile because i have a passion for fighting games and wanted to meet other people that did as well, if i knew i was gonna get attacked for my character as a person i should of just stuck to MySpace. seriously, alot of u guys make our threads look like a joke, there is so much arrogance, bulling, and nonsense going on these threads its disgusting, and the funny part is alot of you guys encourage it!Least to say there is pretty much zero integrity on our section due to trolling and opinions that have nothing to due with what we are here for in the 1st place, all im saying is, you can get 30 people to participate in an argument about what someone said about someone else, and maybe 5 of those people show up to tournaments:bluu:.
lol, you really did get suspended? Funny. I don’t know what you said to push that decision into action, but it can’t be as bad as the constant unwarranted shit talk from some of these guys. Anyway, kudos for not feeding the trolls from now on. Try to keep at it.
Totally agree about the SRK profile BTW. I didn’t even know what the Northwest Discussion section was until Bokkin played me back in like January. He was actually kind of cool back then. Not sure what I did or said to him since then to make him act like such an ass now but it must have been pretty shitty of me. lol Anyway, I just had no clue about all the drama that would come with trying to earn a place in the fighting game community. But maybe it’s just the grind all new players have to face and if you’re strong enough you’ll get respect as a player eventually.
Either way, keep it up man. Your mind’s obviously in the right place. I’m sure you, Cole, and Red will do some sick things for the Northwest.
Also, thought you might find this funny. pause at 1 minute and check out the dude on the left. lol

Ive seen that movie so many times, lol
but naw on srk you have different types of people, u have the people that wanna organize events(like me:china:), u have players that want to be the very best they can(like carlos, witch he isnt obligated to be nice about, lol), and u have people that just wanna be in the in crowd of things, u kno, the people that were team jackets and knock over kid’s lunch treys to display there dominance
welcome back  pretty good first draft. maybe nate can get it ready for the printers. double negatives arent not dope.
he got banned because we were urged to stop, but he kept talking.
carlos has come a long way. People didn’t like him. He showed he had great potential as a player, and as a person, so people gave him a chance. Now, people actually want to hang out with him ;p
First impressions last forever. If you look back to the first post/thread Terrance made, it had the MOST negative feedback. It left a bad taste in the mouths of those who went to playsmart. The way you reply/replied to people was very unprofessional, as a person who is supposed to be a representative of the business. I know what it’s like to do that. Good thing i had already earned the respect of the people that i invited into the venue (at least for the most part). I have to ask, when you decided to throw tournaments at playsmart, did you talk to your manager like you talk to the people on SRK? I know I didn’t talk to my GM and AGM the way I talk on here. I know you might not reply, but i honestly dont care.
I’ve never had any problems with Carlos. I think he’s hella cool.
then again, I’m just hella laid back.
CHEERS!
@Messatsu Orochi actually to be honest my manager has gotten on me alot about speaking slang, i never come off that way with costumers tho, but to be honest, the way i type on social networks has never really been a problem until i got here, people are finicky about it for some reason, i wasnt aware that i had to dot all my i’s and cross my t’s on something like this, but i guess from a business stand point it makes sense(even tho im on a sight were people use :wow::china::shy::clown::shake::mad:). But yea, playsmart was ugly in the beginning, but things have came a long way and all i can say is im only try to move forward for the community, thats all
Just make your comments as understandable as possible. If you make a grammar or spelling error too often it ends up sounding pretty gross. In the end people will be able to get the gist of what you say if you don’t put any effort into your writing. If you put forth the extra effort it will make you seem more professional and more people will start to take you seriously.
I never really had a problem with Carlos at first. We’re about the same age, and I’m sure he’s cool outside of SF so I don’t get the friction. When he first contacted me, he made it pretty clear I had to get more involved and he even complimented my Abel for being “online only”. Now that I’m traveling around trying to get to more tourneys he’s been kind of a dick for no reason, at least none that are apparent to me. Maybe because I claimed to not be free or something and he wants to make sure I know my place? I dunno. I definitely respect the dude as player but it’s a bummer the way he disrespects people for no reason. There are plenty of people who have been around for a while that I think are “free” but I can’t imagine I’d be welcome anywhere if I talked to them the way he talks to me (and the rest of Tacoma for that matter).
I’ve gotten used to it these days but it’s still pretty shitty. :lame:
@Terrance: I’m sure you have seen that movie but if you pause where I told you to and look at the dude on the left you might recognize him from somewhere…
