$10 Event Entry + $3 Venue fee
Then pay out is 60%, 25%, 15% or whatever…
This makes for larger prizes and the store does OK also.
OR
$10 Entry with following payout
40%, 20%, 10%, 30% to Venue (so essentially $3 held from entry for Venue)
Small prizes, but less money on the line also…cheaper to enter.
Its consistent with most other tournaments in WA and on the West Coast.
It is more advantageous to the Players for a “Local”.
For the Game Store they still make a decent chunk if ppl show up.
The store gets the same $$ in either scenario.
If they sell things like Pop, Water, etc they simply ask for a No Outside Food/Drink policy, which means they make money off drink sales also.
@gameclucks the venue dosnt serve food or drinks on the regular basis(just for birthday parties and special events) but i think those are pretty legit ideas, u should come thro on tuesday on the fight night so we can talk more in person, but yea the purpose of the fight night is to kick it ,play( and eat) and discuss the pay out structure to some people so we can all agree on somthin.
I seriously hope u can, if hella people make it out then we can have this event like once a month, i mean for real tho, pizza drinks and fighting games, sounds like a good ass time to me,lol
Car show season is over with, ranbats all over the place keeping stoking that fire, and Ken on Crazy Kick Juice…awww damn it. I’ll make it down from the northend of WA.
Yo I missed my flight to Hawaii yesterday so was actually able to get after some casuals. Pizza, viedo games and parking lot pimping… crackiin haha The new payout structure is on point and solid. Super Joe, my dude, come through so I can tatter that blanka lol but lets get after it, its about to be a big turnout. Lets Goooo! Btw pay structure poppin = community poppin so no excuses lets get it poppin
Causals start @ 4 and the tournament starts around 6, once everybody pays up thats wen we organize the brackets(for the record we try to organize them in a way were friends dont play each other off jump, after all, u dont enter a tournament to knock ur friend off in the 1st round)
