I had 3 employees, including one of them looking like a manager, say they are doing a Midnight Release but no tournament.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, but I think some of you guys are getting misinformed. Unless something has changed since I went in 2 days ago.
Jared, take it as you will, but me and Matt went in today at like 3 pm and the guy at the counter said no, they are not doing it anymore because they couldn’t get their copies in on time.
Well then it has changed and they aren’t doing a midnight release. Sucks for those that might have decided to go with PnT then, but I personally am not affected by this so it doesn’t really matter to me either way.
So the gamestop next to qdoba in lynnwood is still doing a midnight release just they decided against a tournament. Apparently they weren’t allowed to give and decent prizes.

Word! Thanks for that update. I know where I’ll be at midnight to get my copy! I’m pretty mad @ PnT for this. When MAG came out they promised the same thing and it didn’t happen. It’s a shame we can’t get our shit together to hold a decent midnight release. I went in today and was told that the shipment was sent today, and it’s “supposed” to be there tomorrow. But by that time anyone who REALLY wants it would have already gotten it from GameStop or somewhere else.
I’ll probably just drop into Best Buy in the morning to pick up my ps3 copy of the game since i have a bunch of Best Buy rewards anyway.

Anyone know if the gamespot in Lynnwood has extra copies or do you have to preorder it first. I tried calling them but there is a constant busy signal.

Was gonna see If the gamestop in Everett next target was doing a midnight. I will have head over after work and pre pay since I didn’t preorder. Hopefully they have copies for non preorder.
