I think that Sega realizes a lot of people are going to import his regardless but with a cheap price (plus some global DLC to get Japanese players back into it again for the North American launch) It’ll get those same people to repurchase the game to support it and get everyone else off the fence and into the fray.

If this really will only be $29.99 then that makes the wait a little more bearable and makes importing less tempting since the price difference is now so big. Its still gonna suck watching youtube vids the next 6 months though.

I’m gonna wait a month after import release to see if the game has any issues and still go and pre order the game as NA.

I actually only need $12 to get the NA release.

I like max because he looks really fucking evil without over doing it, like Darth Vader, or Michael Myers.

a lot of fighting game villains either look over dramatically evil(for example Tekken bosses besides normal Ogre, Galactus, Bloody Marie) or look intimidating but not evil at all(for example Dictator, Goro, normal Ogre).

Pretty much gonna run Leo because Muay Thai blades are badass. Gonna try out Max because he’s part Leo with a mix of Nikolai but looks more wicked along with Zero and Fei Rin.

Side note- Why does Blacker Baron his so hard? I never died so fast from a beatdown in my life.

Anyways, its probably because how little range he has and his speed compared to the other characters, he doesn’t have long weapons and his attacks aren’t as fast as Leo’s.

Baron has actually decent range… He has the best KW weak and a delay attack that tracks, though his attack speed is a little slow your not going to be using his basic combos a lot of the time. When playing against Baron be on the defense when he jumps in the air or else your going to take a lot of damage.

Well that’s because he’s bla- OH YOU WEREN’T TALKING ABOUT THAT.
Well his shinryuken hits pretty damn hard, a simple stunning item that hits you and then Baron doing a shinryuken is pretty much a guarenteed kill (which is why I always have a sign post with me when I play Baron :).) And yeah, he hits like a grown man.

I’m pretty sure that every delayed attacks track, just that Baron is more clear on that since it lasts longer. Also I believe Garuda got the better weak KW in the demo?

If it turns out to be 30 bucks then this is the smartest damage control Sega could of come up with. I don’t see why people can’t buy two copies since the game was gonna be 60 bucks to begin with lol. Hope it turns out to be true and I really hope this game sells well because Platinum deserves that much.
