Yeah the desert stages are pretty fucked. I was there and I could tell something got fucked up because ALL VISUAL EFFECTS were now gone. None on any attacks, none during a rampage, no bullets from your durgas leg ETC ETC. It was pretty weird. First time I’ve seen that.

Man, these new players don’t know pain. I’ve been too soft on them. Complaining about grabbing and shit. I just made only1phoenix and his bros all ragequit, 14-1 12-1. They all put takedown defense on after they got pissed, and guess what? I still raped them. I even got called a spammer by my own team mate

Lol I don’t like your Douglas. I don’t even understand how to hit that character, with all my hits getting absorbed, it seems only H beats his H, but since you have to do everything on anticipation rather than visual reaction to avoid weird stun/clash scenarios, I’m thinking of seeing how 360 attack deals with his H.
Douglas is just a rin killer. Nothing else to it. You can try and figure out a way to deal with him but it won’t really change the match-up. Fight broke with broke. Douglas jabs are mad unsafe, his DA is near unpunishable and his dive is near unpunishable.
Armor gets broken by other heavies, it just means you were using jabs WAY too much.
Plus that insane guard pressure, douglas breaks a light characters guard like nothing. He’s just good against light characters.

That loops must work online then… For those that don’t know Its just a Garbots loop using Heavy-Weak while you hold guard.
There’s people that can carry other players against RAPE-an? wot.
I may pick this up to play again since I did love it off the bat, but been busy with other fighters. Shame Douglas really is only a light killer since I did main him for awhile till I noticed I couldn’t deal with other heavies so I may switch to Oinkie like I intended.

To me, having both AR communities grow and remain alive would be ideal. So I’m betting this thread will be very beneficial to any newcomer looking to become proficient at the game, thanks to the graciousness present here. There’s also a bit of strat discussion over at Gamefaqs being tossed around (which you all know about) – and to that… I say the more, the merrier.
Tis what I’ve been saying since this game came out. I love this game and I want a community of players who love it as much I do to play and try to keep it active as long we can.
Joining the 360 players that are coming out of the woodwork. Haha, I’ve been eying this thread since the game first dropped in Japan (sadly, I don’t think I could ever quit this game until it fully dies out). So far I’ve been helping newer players get a feel for MP (with minimal bloodshed and less soul crushing-ness), accepting whatever game invites, and sticking to private matches. Bad habit on that last bit, I know. But it’s definitely nice to see a group of new people occasionally test the waters and get pulled into the chaos that is Anarchy Reigns Max Anarchy Reigns etc.
Anyway, I’m moving to Japan for college in about a week, and thankfully my gold finishes just a few days before. Debating on whether I lug my 360 overseas; or leave it and just buy a new PS3 altogether just for Anarchy. How is the playerbase faring for the PS3 as of late? I’m excited at the idea of replaying the game again with a new lot of people, but I wouldn’t want to jump back in and look silly if the game is on its last legs. And hopefully that isn’t the case.

The game isn’t dead and its more active on PS3 since the skype group(yes it still exist, ask if you want in) is active, Anon7906 aka Shizzlee23 streams his endless endeavors and a majority of Japan plays on it. The playerbase consists of me and skype group, three other groups, some new guys, some old guys and Japan.
Follow and join us on the late night fun. Or catch the recordings I guess lol
