lol nah, there was still gamertag names at the final screen:rofl:…
yo anyone on 360 want to party up? im getting on in about 20 mins.
But only for 8 seconds if I recall correctly, so you have 8 seconds after the taunt to hit someone or it goes away, I also think it goes away if you’re hit.

I kind of miss leveling up now… It’s pretty dull not getting EXP at the end of a match.

iirc during the early days of the demo a few ppl attempted to pick apart the seemingly random stun system. i think GrimRStromGeist came up with a theory: if two ppl clashed, one from the ground and the other from the air, only the opponent atking from the ground would get stunned. the problem lies when you jump, since you don’t reach a safe height fast enough, you’ll more than likely get juggled by your opponents L string if you attempt jump clashing from too close a distance. if you want to apply air clashing try clashing with j.L’s or j.KWL’s(considering you’re using characters who can hit repeatedly with those moves) when you and your opponent have just been pushed away from each other.
a tactic i like to use on punch happy players is to purposely ground clash with L so we both get pushed back then immediately go into j.L’s or j.KWL’s; at times players will either just plain get hit by your atks or if they try to close distance by lean atking into it there is a chance they will get stunned. if you whiff at least you will be at a safe distance to recover. you can also try air clashing when ppl are running at you from a distance; often times when they reach just outside close quarters range they will either lean atk or dash H(both of which can be stunned if you time your air clash correctly.) it’s still just a theory it doesn’t always work and sure their is a slight risk to it but if you’re up against a really patient opponent they will almost never leave themselves open so i feel you have to take unpredictable risks here and there if you want to force something to happen.
this is why jacks j.KWL is pretty good; sure not as good as the characters with dive j.KWL’s but imho it is the best j.KWL out of all the multi hitting j.KWL atks in the game eg nicholai, sasha, leo, etc. for the kind of atk it is it has a damn good hit area and if you use j.KWLx4 it can stay active for a long time… which is great for doing into a crowd for stealing kills or air clashing. couple that with the ability to easily combo into his j.KWH from a H – which is more than i can say for mathilda afaik – and you’ll find he is not as bad as you were lead to believe. he also has a decent charge KWH which is fast and can kill multiple enemies if you line 'em up correctly and stand far enough so you don’t trigger the atk throw animation. among the characters w/o gimmicks or who have not been blessed with godly KW atks he is pretty decent. and if you DO believe he is the weakest character in the game it’s definitely not by much… not enough to be singled out or placed in his own separate tier.
oh and of course – going back to the clash system – i find if you clash with the active frames of an atk there’s a chance you will get stunned… though i’m sure that has already been mentioned recently.

I like it when I get thrown by the same person I’m in the middle of a clash with, while the clash animation is still going on. Lag is a bitch sometimes.
There is absolutely NO reason to use Jack instead of Zero.
Zero’s J.KWL is almost exactly the same, 4 hits, good range, active for a while, good damage(maybe even better).
Zero is just a not shitty Jack, he can do everything Jack does, but better, and more.
He’s not as bad ass as Jack and that’s a far more important stat imo.

He isn’t badass when he’s getting his ass beat online.
Bah he’s so bad ass he doesn’t let that shit get him down. Just move on and chainsaw da next motherfucker.
What makes him more badass?
Jack:
Ex-Military
Cyborg
Motor power chainsaw arm
Uses wrestling moves
Is a biker
Is a bounty hunter
Zero:
Is a Cyber Ninja
He has two giant ass demonic swords
He can turn invisible
He has hologram tech
He has a ninja robot clan
He has a giant fucking robot thats based on an evil demon god(And he might have more than one)
He’s a bounty hunter
He can do a ragining demon with his swords.
He can slice the air so hard the wind becomes a deadly projectile
He can do an izuna drop
Jack has a secret weapon though, its called plot driven immunity and there is no counter to it.
Doesn’t make him badass though.
He has a double bladed chainsaw for an arm. That trumps everything Zero brings to the table.

You forgot Zero’s pyscho crusher.
Then again you don’t need all that shit when you got a chainsaw on your arm.
If you think having a chainsaw arm is cooler/more badasss than having an army of robot ninjas, or having a giant ROBOT CTHULHU then you’re out of your mind.
Oh and the robot cthulhu shoots lasers, flies, and has light saber claws among other weapons.

I think Jack being able to slice a giant DBZ blast of electricity from a fucking Tesla Coil Cannon is going to get more cool points than a giant decepticon rip off.
I don’t count feats done via plot driven immunity, like I said.
If you’re the main character the writers will allow you to do retarded shit that makes no sense.
I also don’t see how a robotic old god is a decepticon rip-off, he doesn’t even turn into anything, is it because he’s purple and a robot?
I just want to make sure you know I don’t actually care. I like Jack more because I really really like MadWorld.

Didn’t Zero blow himself up too? Like a bitch.
