I go with Shield Master since I’m pretty solid at avoiding the 3rd evade cooldown but I can never evade when I’m trapped blocking a rampage flurry
Team battle is pretty fun. Wasn’t sure what to expect but it creates an interesting dynamic.
I just realized you can shoot the item boxes from a gatling gun to get items lol.
why does everyone insist upon playing with abilities on? I would be more open to the idea if i started with all of them available.

Certain game modes have them on, there is no “Abilities off” option in those game modes. Play in other modes that do not have them on.
Have we figured out how the clash dizzies work, or am i just far behind the curve? I’ve been trying to find some kind of consistency as to what circumstances cause dizzies.

I want to try Team Battle at some point. Gotta get some PS3 players so we can get some games with randoms that won’t leave right away.
I’m quite curious myself. I know doing an H button against 360 attack (dash H, raw H, KWH) will always dizzy, but I don’t know what other punishes there are. It makes me really hesitant to punish a whiffed 360 from the Rins, because I can’t judge the animation very well. If I trade with it I’ll eat a death combo, and if I do it too late they can dodge away.

It isn’t about the third evade cooldown, it makes you dodge much further than normal. It does help that you can dodge 5 times before needing to let go of block, but the silly part is how far you travel during those 5 dodges.
does anyone ever do cage matches on this?

Basically if you are both competent it’s nearly impossible to actually land a hit. Often though, you get someone who isn’t intelligent and mashes 360, which means you get to punish with an infinite and win the entire round.
To actually get a hit, someone needs to screw up basically, it’s too easy to straight up avoid each other.
man, playing deathball competently and watching the other team ragequit one by one isn’t as fun as I thought it would be, it’s just depressing. It’s always some Douglas or Big Bull sitting in the middle of the field trying to throw people while their ball carrier gets raped by dash attacks, and then quitting at 5-0 to be replaced by CPU02 who chooses to do the same thing. I used to laugh in glee when I just block and dodge 2 people trying to combo me in deathball while our ball carrier runs in circles waiting for superstar shot, but now I’m just screaming “GO CHASE THE BALL C’MON” at the monitor.
So Killjoy works taunt+damage buff go kill? i havent used this so i have no idea how that perk works :S
Well I gotta start remembering the gatling gun locations…
I only know the location of one in only one stage…

Taunt, your NEXT hit does 80% more damage. So use it for a KWH, jKWH, or jKHL for some characters (Ai Rin)
Niggas that die 8 times in a team deathmatch and get no kills, that’s that shit I don’t like…

Just a heads up, chapter 2 of the tutorial will be sitting in sony vegas till a week at least, unless I don’t go to school tomorrow because of all the sudden crazy snow coming out of nowhere.
