Press select like it tells you, and you have an option to switch characters and do a lot of other stuff.
Pressing buttons the game tells you to do is good.
IGN reviews nowadays amount to either “Your game is shit” or “Your game is shit but you moneyhatted so here’s a 9.5/10 game of the year award”.

I find it funny how IGN hosts a community stream with PG a couple of months ago to help promote the game, and then releases this shitty review.
Yeah, nvm, something’s wrong with my controller: select isn’t working. Damn, I wish ps3 controllers still got that $20 black friday price like they did 2 years ago at RadioShack. Guess I better break out the adaptor and a ps2 dual shock.

No offense but thats fucking stupid, in a game about killing and surviving you don’t use it to kill as many people as you can or survive longer? I don’t know why you have a code of ethics in this game but you aren’t supposed to, this game isn’t about being fair, get those easy kills and get as many as you can before that meter taps out.
Know what also sucks? Going toe-to-toe with someone and having an excellent fight. Then somebody on your team finishes them. just before you were about to…salt.
The main thing you should do with baron is delayed light into KWL(its pretty safe) and if that hits do the KWL chain, the person you’re hitting should 360 when you try to go for the third KWL hit so stop at two then punish them.
Baron’s delayed light attack is probably the second best in the game, only really competing with Leo/Max’s delayed light, heavy (solely because theirs launches and is pretty damn safe). Baron’s delayed light attack completely tracks the person you’re targeting, has multiple hits, is cancelable, and the heavy follow is good for breaking guard.
Marauder is still a great ability. If you’re good at mashing, now you’re twice as good at mashing. Granted, there are abilities that can allow you to have a buff the whole match, but if you’re against a number of good players, everyone is going to have a Rampage at some point. It’s a good tactic to save yours until someone uses their recklessly, then you demolish their Rampage by ending it short because you have Marauder.

I read it and I was appalled. What bothers me is IGN is one of those big review sites and a truckload of casuals believe what they say. I made the mistake of believing them years ago with God Hand. I’m glad I didn’t make the same mistake twice because Anarchy Reigns really is an innovative game. Just wow at him calling the game ugly…
