Is the online for the game region locked? Will the JP version of the game be able to play with the US/EU release?

A dude who doesn’t post in here but is awesome enough to deserve a shoutout anyway.
Anyone have any tech for Big Bull? I’ve been trying to learn him and he’s pretty fun. I just want some more tips or strats to enhance my game.
Abuse the recovery on his KW light and the huge radius it hits in, mix it up with grabs (I believe his, Garuda and Douglas’ are harder to tech, KW light into a grab might be really, really good), abuse anti-air attack, abuse his delayed attack to be safe.
…at least this is what I gather from watching what Bull can do and requesting someone try out his moves.
Have yet to import, I’m still attempting to play the 360 demo which is impossible because either everyone imported it or decides not to play because they assume that nobody plays it (self fulfilling prophecies, yay).
So, I did some training mode lately. I was trying to find a fast Jack 100% combo, but the only thing I can find is somewhat iffy.
The basic combo already does like 80% though: heavy > uppercut > staggered air lights > heavy > uppercut > KW heavy.
The only thing that seems to come close to working is: heavy > uppercut > single air light before touching the ground > heavy > uppercut > staggered air light > heavy > uppercut > KW heavy. For whatever reason, the push back is at the point where they final uppercut hits late in it’s animation (i.e. meaty, late in active frames) meaning that it barely connects, it also misses a lot. I might have to try jumping forward and slightly delaying the uppercut so that Jack moves forward before doing it, but that would be very nice if it was reliable.
Something I figured out that might actually be useful to other characters, is that Jack can essentially do the Leo (air KW light recovery cancelled by landing). You need to do a jab at peak height after an uppercut, then time the KW light as if it were just a second light, and timed correctly the animation should get completely interrupted by landing. It doesn’t help Jack at all though, the pushback is both obnoxious and far worse than if he just did two lights, but I’m sure some other character out that can abuse this for their own relaunch infinite.
On another note, earlier this week when I actually had some matches going, my dash kick traded with another attack, and I proceeded to do another dash kick and got to juggle of the trade into a full combo, and thus will main Leo for eternity.
