Rai-on should be higher than mid, dude. He had a braindead, one button infinite, retarded lock down game with the same button, a super that could be used in may situations to cross up, that same super can be used as a scare tactic to hit the other super which takes up to 100 from weaker characters, the only one with and air combo chain, THE dive kick, Blanka roll that lets him cross up in many different ways.
Vector and Gamma are annoying as hell mainly because the priority they enjoy and SO many ways for Vector to hit you with that beam super…
I’ll put Shaker before Blood as he generally has more damaging supers and a glitch on one that lets him do even more damage if you juggled into the super. And don’t get command thrown, for GOD’s sake!!!
The grapplers were pretty broken as well as they can command grab you while rolling on wakeup , ruled the air and ground with ANY variation of jumping kick that led to painful grabs and juggles, if someone didn’t have a fireball and no meter, the spin attack was a pain in the ass to deal with.
There was a reason he was a hidden character. The arcade version of him(and other people) was so broken, they had to re-release of the arcade version based on the Dreamcast version.
The DC version was cleaner looking and ran at a faster frame rate. It also took the hit stun time down on certain things(Rai-on).
With that said and done, I LOVE this game. And I’m gonna get some vids up of me playing with my boy. I’m currently on a Zelkin trip right now but I play with everybody 'cept June and Ele.

So, whatever happend to those PS match vids, Shishioh/Redmyst?
Anyway, got bored and started looking for some PS match vids on youtube cus NYC had a small gathering at Sabin’s where PS received most of the play for the wknd (lol).
These matches are ok but seem a bit ‘mashy’ at times. Seems like they’re just messing around for laughs rather than taking it seriously. Still interesting to watch or whatever.

NYC’s “new” poverty gaming group, Team Hard Tymz (not finalized name lol), will be posting up some of their own poor-ass PS matches hopefully by the end of the wk so keep a look out for that. Had a lot of fun teaching the game to others and putting some of my fighting theories to practice as well as learning how to deal with system/character bs (coughplasmafield).

wow, the internets is great. Found a HUGE ass set of plasma sword (arcade version) vids today ul’d by “AcidGlow”. These vids are a lot better than the randoms I randoms posted not too long ago as these players appear to be more serious about the game and know whats going on…

One thing I don’t like from what I’ve seen of the matches is the backgrounds, gameplay seems OK, but damn are the backgrounds lifeless.
Capcom should really consider re-doing this game for this gen’s console and fix what issues the original game had.
BTW for those that don’t know, Kao Megura made an FAQ for the game which can be found at GameFAQs.com.

Why no A,B,C Strings? Where’s the 2C,C strings? use charged A more. it sidesteps alot. 3A is an overhead use it alot in strings.
I know believe it anot my main was Rain.
I’m not sure about what Rain’s A>B>C (K) string looks like but I do know that running excessive strings in this game will get you parried followed by a loss of 50% of your health- and in some cases, worse. Your best bet is to stick to short, 2hit strings to confirm or add in strings with lows or kick attacks (both which cant be parried).
As for the charged A, Rithli was actually using it in earlier matches (not shown) and it was getting him hurt pretty badly if he read wrong or got spaced out. It looked pretty bad when guarded too…has a lot of startup as well…
The 3A he was using from time to time but it was most dangerous when he landed a plasma field strike. If he couldnt followup from the blowback in time he would mix in 3A and it would open up for bs ice combo (which led to ANOTHER plasma field strike).
Xaq and Rithli were pretty much on day 1 1/2 of PS experience. I had to explain to them some of the mechanics, ‘best’ strings (that i remembered), what normals to whore out and at the same time try to remember everything I was self-taught when I first played the game hardcore for a week 
. I myself had no exp outside of lvl8 AI and all I knew was combox and some basic movement (also learned from AI). Im sure if they both had a good sit down with PS, studied the flowchart and ahem watch my vid for combos then the fights would be far more intense. Actually, disk3 of our session was pretty fierce; we had problems ripping the data but we WILL find a way to salvage that.
