If you haven’t been to the roller derby it’s the shit. Hot chicks in short skirts going around in circles beating the hell out of each other. Instead of a penalty box they have pillow fights. All in all a cheeseball fun time. I wish I could go to the championships but got family coming to town.

Haha - yeah, that’s the Aerialistas. My best friend used to be part of that. The girls are all pretty cool.
Some of the stuff they do on ropes or with hoops is crazy. Way more entertaining than a guy on a unicycle juggling bowls or something.

This fucking rocked. You guys missed the hell out. Simian Mobile Disco was the best DJ set I’ve heard in years, and the night ended up with fifty of us dancing on stage to Diplo. :tup:
The Go! Team is coming up, that should be pretty great too. Also, if you like “Awesome” the band, I’ll be going to a couple of those shows. I’ve got friends in that and the Mark Siano band.
Eff… I kept feeling like there was -somewhere- I was to be last night. Funny thing, I was right outside of Neumo’s last night @ about 2. Dag yo.
I was at The Flaming Lips at the Paramount instead, they put on quite possibly one of the best shows you can possibly see.
I heard that Diplo and Simian Mobile Disco were playin yesterday on KEXP and figured you’d be at that show though 
I can forgive you only because I heard that about the Flaming Lips show too.

I’m not prepared enough to make a topic about it, buuuuut I’m gonna try to work on getting a fliptop somehow (whether I gotta cut my ps2 or not), burn some games, and then having a smaller get together at my place. Like I said, I got two TVs now, I imagine one will run 3s and the other one will alternate… Would love to get Guilty Gear going too. Those are my two games, unfortunately, even though everyone up here is all about the ST/Marvel scene. Anyway, this monday school starts (ack!) so my work schedule will be more normalized, gonna be working mornings and be getting out of class around 5. If I’m not gonna have it on a weekend, I’ll try to give a lot of extra notice. Anyway, just a heads up guys. Hell, I kinda wanna get A3 going too.
