seriously, fuck itunes. I organize all my files by directory, but itunes doesn’t even consider that a possibility, so when I have music without tags, I can’t find it.

- ephpod
- yamipod
- winamp plugins
- foobar plugins
I’d personally go with foobar plugins, because foobar is an awesome music player.

EphPod works decently. Only problem is that it can’t format your ipod from what I remember.
Before I switched to linux I used Xplay. You need to use Macdrive with it (formats your ipod to mac standards). This worked really well, and didn’t have sync/overwriting issues with your mp3s that iTunes did.
I use Amarok now. By far the best mp3 player on comp I ever used.
