Interesting: Makoto’s I think she’s either gone vigilante or has taken up a side job as a painter or Roller derby those knee and shoulder pads.
I get it: Chunli’s been taking dance lessons! She has on the 80’s dancer ensemble, which they did something with her hair buns though.
Wtf: Viper what the hell did you let them do to you she looks like she belongs in a carnival act better have better alt colors.
Great: Casual street clothes Cammy, Chinese dress Poison, Classy Sagat, Upper Crust Dudley, Bison’s, Seth’s (I don’t know why though), and Sun hat Sakura.
The rest are okay and fit nicelyexcept Abel and Rose don’t know what’s going on there.
So Guile’s is a nod to D. Dark, Sagat’s is a nod to C.Jack, and Oni’s is a nod to Garuda.
Is Chun’s a nod to Vulcano Russo? I can see some of the elements in her costume but nothing that makes it totally obvious.
Sure would be nice if they lets us use the SFxTK alts that arent crossover stuff. I already paid for it, it’s on my harddrive, and I dont want to play the shit game where I can use them. Transfer alts pls capcom.
Or maybe they can get off of Udon’s dick by a few inches and let somebody else have a stab at designing alts for a change.
Let Daigo Ikeno design them or something.
That’s odd. I’m pretty much sure if you have SFxT save data they would let you use SFxT alt costumes.
I agree. I think giving long hair to those characters who otherwise don’t or wouldn’t have their hair down is overrated…let it go people it shouldn’t happen with Chun-Li.
Wavy, long hair is static in this game.
Also I thought Makoto’s looked like Bao from KoF…Capcom can’t possibly be that dumb to draw such a close comparison to Nintendo’s icon and provide the same color scheme to Mario.

It only works for the new 5 characters. Why not the other 40 something? Probably because they would have to pay somebody to work on that for a day or two. $200 is a pretty big overhead in the game industry.
Half of me believes you guys genuinely hate the costumes, the other half believes you guys are just crying over no bikinis.

The game was pressed weeks ago, and it hit the net over week ago.
Forgot how close it was to release. Either way, it’s still possible to be on disk. Or do you think they reveal the costumes the moment that they are finished?

Yeah…not really seeing how half of these are summer-themed even if you’re “stretching” it and a lot of them are just straight out weird or bad-looking or both. Ironically, a lot of the ones that aren’t summer-themed, like El Fueter’s or Oni’s or Vega’s, are among the ones that actually look good to me.
I’ll admit also that I straight up laughed at Rufus’s alt as well as Zangief’s and, given how ill-fitting it is, T. Hawk’s horrid kid-cowboy custom. Surprised they didn’t give T. Hawk a wooden horsey while they were it since he and Dee Jay seriously can’t catch a break.
Also laughed at Guile’s costume, though for a different reason: I thought you weren’t ever going to acknowledge SFEX, Capcom?
Finally, I laugh at the fact that Cammy’s “summer wear” has her a) wearing way more clothes than she normally wears and b) her wearing normal clothes for once. Yay, Cammy finally has a normal looking alt.
I’ve read a few comments regarding Abel’s new costume how is that costume a reference to jojo’s bizzare adventures? I’m really curious since i don’t get his costume at all…
Ryu has regular clothes on in this DLC and it looks pretty cool! When does this come out?
