I have heard of different CPS2 conversions over the years at different forums. It’s definitely possible with a variety of games. It’s gotta be worthwhile too, or else you wouldn’t see the different guys doing it.
I wonder how far CPS2 hacking can go? Pallette hacking? I bet it could be done rather easily at this point. What about music hacking? It would be pretty cool to switch the music from one CPS2 game to another.
I also have one of those. It is indeed phoneixed, but I encountered a problem at the last tournament that I brought it do. The games started to display some slowdown/choppy action. Like teleporting in HDR online. however I haven’t been able to replicate that problem so I’m not sure where it originated from.
From what I read on other forums those boards use some kind of hacks in regards to Q-sound and cps-1 games. I suppose you could try turning off q-sound in the options menu and see if that helps.
I personally don’t have any actual arcade boards to test it against. But I do know hat during the play sometimes the player 2 up button would stop working.
Hi, is someone here still playing CPS2 games, I have played these games for a while, Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Dungeons & Dragons - Tower of Doom, Giga Wing. I download the CP System 2 but when I play the game for a while in the last few days I get the message “error game” after 20-30 sec when the game starts, at the second lunch the game plays well. Any ideas what could be the problem.
I download the CPS2 Emulator and I want to play CPS2 ROMs but when I download the game the emulator can’t find. In which folder should be placed the downloaded ROMs. In the download folder or some other one?
