who are the known street fighter legends around the phillipines? i want to check them out on youtube.
These are mostly casuals, but some of them have the higher-ups at the tourneys playing. Dru (Dhalsim) took first at the last tourney, and Ben (Guile) was second.

i was wondering what’s the most competitive arcade to play SF4 in the philippines? anyone have any recommendations?

also none of the parts are sanwa so it might take some time for you to adjust

played a decent mvc2 player at clark sm @ quantum with my MSP and warmachine/ironman/doom team. lol dude didn’t know how to deal with magneto cross ups. 
^^ Wow… maybe a player from Manila that is having a vacation there? Or there might be a group of really good mvc2 players there… thats better (encountering one) than nothing haha… 
Nah i had a great time man… i’m in the Mabuhay lounge waiting for my flight back right now. Played some Street fighter 4 at Mall of Asia, Timezone last night and it was dope… also went to the hooters here lol my friends over here was joking and said “not hooters naman sika, “ooters” hahaha”. The Tekken 6 BR and KoF scene seems to be really booming out here. Btw i was the guy playing Abel at Timezone last night, encountered alot of Akumas. I also got to meet that model Angel and Karaoke’d with her and a bunch of local celebs here. All in all great first trip to the P.I. and i’ll probably be back there soon.
Had to add that as well, Bat tops for SF4 for me felt mad wierd… im so used to japanese sticks, Bat tops are uber perfect for Mvc2 though.
Where from Canada are you from? I’m from Vancouver. Been playing a few times at Glorietta 4 and sometimes Trinoma. I’m hungry for competition.
What times do people usually play in the malls?
Off topic but when you’re home do you ever come to Seattle? We have quite a scene here. I’ve been meaning to drive up to B.C. for some games again for a while, a bunch of the Seattle ST players went up to Canada but I couldn’t go, heard it was a blast. :party:
Megamall has the most competition eh.
megamall during weekends, specially on saturdays, it usually starts around 4pm onwards~
I never went to Seattle to play, but some of the BC players participated in some tournaments. I think I met some of the Seattle players when they went to Vancouver… wait, maybe they were from Portland… I dunno. :xeye:
So I went to Megamall today and there are alot of good players. A couple were Ryu players and there was a Sagat player. One of the Ryu players is a dude from Singapore. Excellent player. I met him in G4 before. GGs to all.
I was the Balrog/M.Bison player.
SF4 Philippine League now has 5 teams. Registration is up to January 16. Sali na kayo.
