Is everyone OK? I can’t believe I was in the Philippines just a couple of months ago…and now I hear this…
Knowing it’s only a Day of rain that’s crazy, I live there most of my life but never experienced that type of Disaster especially hitting Luzon…We all get through this. By nature we Filipinos are Survivors.

I heard about “flooding” which to my mind means some people got water in their basements, then I saw a vid on youtube of cars floating down the street, WTF!!

MvC2 as far as I know is already dead here. Some of them are already preparing for the upcoming EX2 Tournament this Oct20 I think. We still have a lot of Tekken6 players though.

Wow, EX2? I assume they still have those in the Gaisano Malls? I remember as a kid that that was indeed a big game in Davao back in the day. Do people still play Samurai Shodown too? That + EX’s + KOF’s were really popular in the late 90’s to early 00’s. :lol:
That’s too bad about Marvel. I guess mga nagsawa na yung guys from a few years ago. Ako man, I haven’t played in a while, but it’s still my favorite fighting game by far. I hope they can revive. Not only is it still alive in Metro Manila, I think it’s being revived because of the 360/PS3 rerelease. See if you can add it to the games you guys play again (sa PS3… pangit yung PS2 ver e).

Nah… EX2 will be held on Gaisano South (JS Citimall). Yep, I still see a few samurai players and a bunch of KoF fighters are my friends. If I can, i’ll also try to post some vids ng EX2 tournament next month.
Most of my friends, including me don’t go to arcades na kasi, dun na kami sa gamepakks tumatambay (see above post)…
Hey, so I just want to clarify, there’s an SF4 Cab @ Megamall now and not just Glorietta? I often visit with family so I want to know where all the SF4 takes place, haha.
Yeah, G4, Megamall, and Trinoma have SF4.

Is there a difference between the cabs? Or they’re exact clones with the weird korean parts? Just to clarify, difference between the cabs in Megamall from say G4 or Trinoma.
AFAIK they’re all the same. (With the weird korean sticks and buttons)

I’ll be in the Las Pinas/Metro Manila Area if anyone there still plays. I haven’t played in over a year. I’m gonna miss playing casuals with Sanford and the rest of NY. =(

There’s still players at malls. Mega, SM Makati food court, and if I remember correctly Alabang Festival. Most malls carry it regardless of comp. It’s also on Xbox 360 Live and PSN, though I’ve no idea how the online community here rolls.
yup theyre all the same, according to vicious, if u buy an sf4 arcade machine, it comes in a set of 6 cabs, so what timezone did was distribute those 6 cabs to 3 malls haha
