We’ve been into Level 2 Damage I think since the MVC2 was released till 2003… Majority of the players here I think were bored already of the quick matchups and resets or any term, so One arcade tried to change the setting into Level 1. Coincidentally, its one of the best malls to go for MVC2 match so when the top players are are having a “get together” thing… they were convinced to change the arcade setting on their homecourts also… making mushrooms of MVC2 Level 1 Machines.
I tried turning it back to Level 2 setting but Majority rules… I was even irritated at that time when they changed it since I can do short combos and good damages at Level 1 with Anakaris, but after months of playing it. I was sorta used to it. IMO, it improved skills on our part, maybe we will not be able to do corner infinites with storm without that setting, or at least improved resets. Anyway I’m still playing at Level 2 but in the “International” way hehehe. I visited Singapore, Australia, Malaysia last year to this year and I still survive even though I play more often in Level 1 since almost all MVC2 cabins here are setted to Level 1.
IMO, if manila players were to play on Level 2, generally can still survive at it.
And yeah, International players do come randomly at our arcades… even clockwork… But I doubt they will turn it back to Level 2 again since MVC2 is old already and MVC2 players are starting to retire playing including me… 
Hmm I think I played him in SM Makati but can’t tell exactly if he’s what Im thinking since I don’t go that much in Makati for MVC2…

Can anyone give me a list of good comp for 3s and CVS2? And also where to get ‘cheap’ games besides Green Hills, Green Hills is still the best place right?
nccc mall arcade kinda needs some getting used to… yeah i suck… piponaz & September are way beyond my level of gameplay at the moment… i still need more experience

Sidenote: WHat happened to the Alimall 3s players? I know 3s got removed there, just curious. I had fun trying to learn makoto against the light yellowish brown Urien player with curly hair XD
I may start going to SM north often instead of Alimall since the SM stamesa manager got moved there which means JR and I may actually visit there often for MvC2, hopefully I could also improve my 3s then

The only decent Tom’s world I know of is at SM makati’s food court… and you can only decently play MvC2 there.
There are good MvC2 players, the most notable would be the one we call “Reynante”
