I was here 2 years ago but didn’t have any internet so couldn’t find out where to play… I went to some mall arcade (forgot which) in Manila and played a few ppl, but I think the damage setting was too low if I remember correctly ;( Also I played a little at the SM (or Robinsons?) here in Pampanga but there wasn’t anybody who knew how to play.
So I’m gonna be here for a really long time this time, till mid January. I live in Pampanga so it’s a bit far from Manila I think, so I don’t think I’ll be able to regularly visit Manila. When I do end up going, is there any mall in particular I should visit to play?

Hi. Maybe we can get some games in whenever you visit Manila [I have no idea if I’ll be going that far - family visit and all]. Er, not sure how to know when you’re going to Manila, though. 
Oh, and they said the ‘alimall’ and the SM Megamall are two of the spots, I think.
Yeah, almost every arcade has MvC2, only Alimall, SM North Edsa, and SM SouthMall have 3S afaik. And yes, MvC2 is set to lvl 1 damage almost everywhere. Also lot of ppl that play iceman/cable/doom teams. But yeah, SM Megamall has a few MvC2 cabs, there’s usually a couple of ppl playing at any given time.
clock, i know the mall you’re talking about. well let me tell you if you go to megamall sm or any mall with mvc2. the damage level is on 1. It sucks. Sometimes the machines don’t even work. The best comp out there play in some other arcade. You’ll waste your time. Just get back to LA and head down to FFA again. hahaha. Other wise go to bacolod robinsons. The best players in the philippines play there. =)
Megamall has 3s. It’s in Synergy, the arcade beside the skating rink at the basement level. That arcade also has MvC2 and CvS2.

SM Megamall (Best usually will be Friday and Saturday) is the place where the best mvc2 players commonly get together and handle tournaments. We’re waiting for you to somehow surprise us here in Manila but anyway, if you still have time, pay us a visit and we’ll surely give you good matches as well. Anyhow, Strider/Doom is way better in LVL1 Damage than in LVL2 setting so maybe its an advantage to you. 
You can rent Internet to many Computer Center and Internet Rentals around…
it’s true, Megamall Synergy has 3s. it’s had 3s for the longest time, but it was tucked in a lonely corner beside SC2. everyone ignored it because the monitor was awful, but they’ve since moved it to a much less awful Megalo cab that randomly cuts off all of player 2’s controls. there’s not a lot of comp around, though. i usually just end up playing against the same 3 or 4 guys and they usually arrive by 6pm or so. haven’t been there in a while though.
So uh,what happened to clockwork?
Edit: Some stuff came up, so my trip to Manila is postponed till next week ;( I hope to make it out to megamall eventually…

Hai. Just got back home. I went to the SM Megamall about 3 times - I’m not sure if I met any of the regulars there. I’m easy to recognize I think, I’ve got an afro. :] The entire time I was there I played Mag/Cable/Psy [an ugly team, but with the damage so low I had to use it instead of MSP :[ ], Purple magneto. Not sure if I played any of you… but lemme know if I did!
Edit: I played marvel at the TIMEZONE, btw. Not sure if there was any other place in the MM. o_o
