The bosses SHOULD NOT be playable online for ALL fighting games.

i’d be down for rebalanced mkt. really, only reason i didn’t play umk3 was cause you cant configure buttons and ill be damned if i have to switch buttons on stick every time i want to play it.

MKT was prolly the MK game i played most… it was also probably the 3rd best MK game… right after UMK3 and MKvDC… it was fun doing 500+ finishers… but i’d rather have part 4… dunno why…

No thanks. I hate MKT. Should have been the best 2D MK. Instead, he was a rushed, broken POS.
However, Remix it. Go back, bring the visuals up to HD levels, fix the issues, balance Noob & Rain, take away the bosses, the MK1 Kano & Raiden and the MKII Jax and Kung Lao, among other things.
Of course, MK4 needs to be fully emulated. NOT the pathetic PSX or N64 ports. The arcade port, aka Rv3.0.
Give me The Grid on XBL & PSN too.
I’d even take MK1, not to mention MKII on XBL and UMK3 on PSN.

Why the hell does everybody think you can just simply, “Remix” a game and add new visuals like it’s nothing. Just because one game did it, doesn’t mean it’s reasonable for a company to do it. Look at how long it took to release HDREMIX. Especially a game that used digitized graphics of actors portraying the characters.

Shit. Midways still looking at the ingrate bitches who ignored MK2 when they released it and went through the trouble of making it online as well. I don’t think they’re gonna release something people will play with for a week, then abandon…a second time.

Wont ever happen, but if MKT ever hits online for a console, it needs a MAJOR restoration, so why not do something to the effects of what Capcom & Udon did with STHDr?

You are completely right, unless… because it is based on photos/filmed material there is a small chance that they still have the source material at a higher resolution (scaled down for the actual game to fit hardware of the time), and this could be used to make a higher res modern version. But it’s a slim chance.

Taking that further, its even possible they have the mocap footage from which the frames are developed i.e. they can add more. Wishful thinking though.
