I find the Viper matchup oddly fun. I don’t know what it is about her, I just enjoy it. Don’t find many of them online though, or even offline to be fair.

i find it fun till i get KD… then it aint fun. up until that point though, dealing with both air and ground spacing is really awesome it’s really a 2 dimensional game

I have to disagree… All online is not shit, rank of course is BS but who takes it seriously to begin with only time I took rank seriously is if I knew this person wasn’t just some random trying to abuse lag tatics and actually plays the match up. And 9 times out of 10 endless will be garbage too if the room is full of randoms.

Edit: Any one here played hugo101’s rufus or bison besides me, I managed to pull a win or two on his rufus but his bison is on a completely different playing field. His Abel and Seth are also decent.

Offline is better without a doubt, though people try to make it seem every single match or every single set online is shit and you can’t possibly learn anything by playing online which is not true it’s all about the person.

nope but the number of rounds the loser of the match wins does matter. You get more points for beating the same person 2-0 than 2-1

The only reason i play rank cuz if i lose i get to find another fight really quick after that one i just loss instead of waiting till it’s my turn again.

“getting kicked online and losing points or being on a 3 game losing streak just because the character is so bad” I have been on a 10 losing streak in ranked. just because i had no one to warmup with but i begged meteo2 to help me out and i actually started to win (in ranked) after he beat me 7 out of 8 games (in endless). lmao

i tryed again last night and the skill level of people online is just rediculous. Like people were doing the stupidest shit. That plus lag and I’ve had enough. both psn and xbl suck ass. Like apparantly it’s my connection or something because it’s unplayable with someone that lives 30 min away. Either that or offline has just spoiled me.

Lol personally i think i just suck to much i keep taking long breaks from this game and think “hmm maybe i’ll play some street fighter today” then i get my ass kicked like 5 times in a row then run to netflix lol. In order to keep a level head in online you have to play almost all day every week without taking long breaks it will fuck u up if you don’t. Im just simply horrible with match-ups and just press buttons.:oops: I don’t blame Vega i blame me, i wish i had a offline scene where i live.

well their were times when i moved my stuff around and for somereason the internet kept like disconnecting or it would start to freeze while im playing. i got so pissed but it went away after a day :o

Online gets terri fucking bad, really fast.

Its because of shitty online that I rarely play this game any more.

im in the same boat, yesterday i was losing against an adon dat only did 50/50 throw/jaguar kick and i just could not react much online and lost way more then i should, nevermind the ammount of (slow comboable) overheads i eat because of online (looking at you chun,dudley and rog)

Footsies and whiff punishing are almost non existant in most connections, only jumping in and random stuff.

Yet online is the only training tool i have with exception of the actual training mode… guess ill have to make do.
