I don’t want this game to be supported by MLG. This is like a real game. Not like Mortal Kombat.
I think that’s acceptable depending on whatever your reasoning is. However, let’s be realistic. For a game like this, I think it being supported by MLG can only be a positive thing / do no harm…
Well to be honest I don’t think this game is going to get much love in the main community streams (Big Two/LevelUp) and the idiotic stream monsters have already started firing up their “weabo” memes so if that turns out to be the early case then I really wouldn’t mind seeing Teddy and Kanji at a MLG event (at least to my enjoyment). Or, I might be incorrect and Levelup WILL pick it up and it will be broadcasted by either savage saturdays or Skillionaire (which seems to be the case according to the NY thread in Mayonaka forums).
Regardless, I just want it to be streamed/supported with consistency and not be dropped after a week.
Does MLG also host the MK finals in restrooms too?

Level|Up doesn’t give a shit about stream monsters. When a new game comes out, they host it. If enough people come to play the weekly tournament at Super Arcade, they’ll keep it there. If not, they’ll drop it. It all depends on the local players there. End of story.

No fucking way elizabeth is low tier. Rest of that list makes pretty good sense, but NOOOOO way is Elizabeth low. Most of the cast seems to have something except for Shadow Labrys who can go eat a dick she’s so bad looking.
Tiers seem plenty tight but I some of the cast just gets so much more damage then the rest it’s a bit silly (Mitsuru ice loop and Aigis spin loop)
From SBO Qual play seems to be. No order in tiers.
S Mitsuru, Aigis Bullshit damage with bullshit moves
A Yu, Teddy, Chie Overall Solid, some bullshit just not as bullshit as S
B Akihiko, Yukiko, Elizabeth, Naoto Solid has bullshit but has exploitable weaknesses. Naoto has BS damage for 50% bar and a really solid corner game.
C Labrys, Kanji, Yosuke Notable weaknesses, but still have useful tools. Yosuke is the only one I haven’t seen a lot of in this tier.
D Shadow Labrys Bad … Seems to have interesting overhead combo’s and whatnot but damage is just so sad and she’s so slow that I don’t see how she can be anything but bad.
Anyone got evidence of A tier Yosuke? All I see them do is die miserably without having accomplished anything. I could see it because he’s fast as shit, but I’ve just never seen anyone use it well.
Elizabeth is a secret S tier character. Don’t tell anyone though.
Edit: Her theme song is more then enough to make her S tier.

5B FC nerf wasn’t as bad as it seems. It’s brain dead but her damage is still there.
There was an A tier like 800PSR Yosuke in the Sega 5 on 5 tournament that took place a some days ago. You’ll have to dig it up
Not that I particularly care about tiers in a game this balanced, but I have to agree with a lot of the stuff in Sephiroth’s theory list. Particularly about Yukiko being mid and not bottom. She seems like she has way to much bullshit to be bottom in this game, especially in a game where Labrys exists. The only real issue is her damage, but even she can get ridiculous damage off of a fatal counter so its not even that bad. Unblockable resets help with that too. Plus watching a Yukiko player successfully execute their gameplan is one of the coolest looking things in fighting games. Same can be said of Liz. Liz I’m a bit less convinced of though because she has to take a lot of risks.
Also unconvinced of Yosuke as well. Maybe its just because I hate him as a character but who knows.
I think she has a harder time against Yu and Mitsuru. That’s the only reason she’ not in S. Plus she seems more fair now that people have a better understanding of how to deal with her pressure. Still really good though.
Elizabeth gets 4-4.5k meterless non-CH anti-air combos and 3.5-4k grounded meterless combos. That’s S tier shit right there. Issue seems to be that her only way to open you up without meter is CH Persona Roar and Persona Command Grab. I mean she get’s Yukiko’s Super meterlessly, lol. In that 5v5 there was an Elizabeth tearing shit up.
So has there been any news about new or DLC characters for the console version? I kinda want the rest of the P3 cast. Yukari, Junpei, Koromaru, and Ken to round off the cast to 17. Maybe even add Shinji in it to make it clean 18 characters.

Possible Minato [P3 MC] in future? Aegis is here so why not? Yes I know he is “dead/being a seal” but he can always make non-canon appearance or maybe add more story to the games like they did with P3.

Well yes with characters like Aigis and Elizabeth being in the game then thats possible, however they would have to be careful if they had any intentions of bringing Minato back. What I mean is don’t bring him back alive without some significant story explanations (which i doubt they will use in this plot) if this is treated canon. However since this is a fighter he can always pop in as non-canon fighter dlc (yes I know Yu has a P3 MC palette, but that alone does not rule him out. Aigis has a Labrys palette after all >.>)
