I would love to be the person who can make the Yukiko guide here on SRK since I plan to use her thoroughly, but I have no knowledge of that plus or minus thing, frame data, and the like. But I desperately want to do it… What to do, what to do… ><

So if i have a move with 6 frame startup (fframes before active attacking frames) and it is +11 on hit, i need a normal with 4 for less frames to link the attack before the hitstun runs out. Get it?
I think it’s worth it to mention that when frame data is shown, it is usually the advantage when both characters have recovered, so you’ll usually just have to look at the number on hit and the startup of the move you want to link with in most cases.
If there is one thing you should know, there are no traditional DP motions in this game at all. Your ‘DP’ is a two-button input. Quarter motions are still in.
They’re really, REALLY easy, which is suprising considering it’s an ArkSystem game.
Only qcb, qcf, charge motions for special moves as well as dual button combinations (for example B+D is a universal anti air and/or reversal for all the cast members) for some specials.
Supers and awakened supers are double motions (for example Yu’s beam is :qcf::qcf: + C or D) and I think the universal command for the instant killing ultimate attack is :d::d::d: + attacks.
So I’ve spent most my Sunday early afternoon watching videos of this game (and saw two episodes of the anime) and I’m really excited, game looks likes lots of fun and not a execution barrier-fest (like KOFXiii), I hope the netcode is good and that the east coast shows some casual love when it drops. I’m not going to complain of Mitsuru really is S tier I would play her even if she was bottom tier. I just hope people don’t complain when I use her like they do when I play Parasoul. =/
