I may as well play this since I beat persona 4 and I really liked it but it’s weird I thought P3 was more popular
I got hype watching those Catherine videos. I might have to re-consider waiting on a price drop
P4 is generally regarded as the better game, however it’s not an issue of popularity so much as it is cross-promotion. They’ve already got the P4 anime coming out as well as P4: Golden for the Vita. Not to mention P3 has already gotten two updates so far, if they’re going to make a fighting game with a canon story P4 is the obvious choice.
I demand late night drunken money matches at the very least.

Super excited. I played quite a bit of Persona 4 and loved the story and characters. Did not care so much for the actual gameplay. Those characters in a kind of game that I’ll very likely enjoy playing? Win + bonus + double stars + happy times for all and me.
Persona 4 fighting game will be playable at Anime Matsuri in Texas, which is good news for those interested in playing early!

yukiko was probably my most useful character in P4 but I don’t see it using her here that much. She’s going to be a keep away character most likely so i’m going all for the rushdown with chie… for now.

From the screenshots, seems like Personas are gonna be used for special attacks and won’t be separate entities ala JJBA. At least for the revealed character.

I’m not sure if anyone noticed this yet, but there’s something rather interesting in one screenshot.
I’m willing to assume that this screen is of arcade mode and there is a list of who you have fought previously and who you’re about to fight (like a lot of other fighters do). In the screenshot is says that the first person fought was クマ which is the Japanese name for Teddie in Persona 4.
