Melty pretty much had most of the features you wanted. Actually not sure if Melty had the ability to save multiple recordings and play back at random, i really like that feature of VF5/BB/P4A.

you said earlier that the mechanics of this game are built “against” zoners. that’s kind of bullshit imo, the movesets of people in general are built in such a way that mechanics like airdashes are needed. if there was no roll, aigis’s 2b would be fucking silly. if there was no airdash or superjump, it’d be way too easy to keep someone locked down. the mechanics and the movesets go hand in hand in games like these. you just need to learn how to control space properly. watch some jp match vids, perhaps.

what do you mean? Whether she’s strong or easy or any random thoughts on bits of moves or…?
I feel like her chainshot mixup is both good and bad. The actual high/low/throw(you can cancel the brake into throw to frametrap) mixup is bleh because you cant delay the high/low enough, you can just time your defense and beat it. However, the high is usually advantage on block, so that helps her have repeatable mixup.

I can’t speak to T5, but I know as a matter of fact that local versus matches could be saved and replayed in 6 (I would always save matches against my brother). At least, you could on 360. Maybe PS3 was different?

I just got the game and is kinda lost on how I should approach this game.
I tried to play it like street fighter, but jump-ins seem to be not as effective to start an offense like in Sf4. Also, not everyone has a long poke move like in sf4 to control space(ie ryu cr.mk or vega cr.mp), so I don’t know exactly what to do.
I tried to play it like Mvc3, but I felt so restricted with movement because of the no “two-button dashing”. I know I have to practice being comfortable with that, but still…air attacks don’t seem to have a lot of hitsun behind them, so I have to hit them fairly low to the ground for it to combo(which is just really unusual)
So what I ask is. What is the proper progression of playing this game. What are the bare bone skills needed to play?

So it can say “OMG WANNA SAVE DIS FREE MATCH AGAINST UR NEIGHBOR LOL??” everytime you finish a match?
All it does it stall time, not only that but if they made it an option (before you throw that on me.) I guarantee there’s going to be people saying “OMG SO MUCH WORK” or “OOPS I FORGOT REPLAYS FML DIS GAME SHOULD HAZ IT AUTO.”
Just because you couldn’t save that one beast match over the 10000 scrubby matches you play justifies that feature being implemented.
