Yeah, who I end up using long term usually always different from who I originally planned on… but we’ll see. Liz looks like way too much fun to pass up lol.
I love her persona, so i’ll always at least dabble.
It’ll probably be healthy on both. I suggest getting it for whichever system your local scene plays on primarily.

Most likely PS3 but since this is the Persona series, it’s possible that it might be close on both systems.
It makes me happy that the game sells very well and because of that will probably get more support and sequels, but it’s nothing to brag about regarding the game’s quality.
You know most people bought it for the story mode and they’ll buy everything persona 4 related that has a story mode.
It’s not different from SF4 being the #1 game in the west because of the SF brand, unrelated to the game’s quality.
Does anyone know if New egg does Release date delivery or will I have to wait 2-3 days for it to arrive.
Super Persona 4: Arcade Edition.
sorry too burst your haterade bubble, but its not region locked multi
^^^^^ :slowpoke: ^^^^^
Usually ships out on the release day, so you’ll have to wait. This is a primary factor in why I don’t buy fighting games from Newegg even though there have been some killer sales lately.
Yeah, it’s pretty much a tradeoff. Either get it cheaper and later, or normal price (or slightly more expensive, if we’re talking online sales) and get it day of or sometimes even earlier.
eh, I’ll take the 15-20 dollars off and wait a few days since I plan to buy tekken tag 2 and doa also in the next 2 months. Saves me close to 60 bucks, I basically get one for free. Couldn’t pass up those deals.
Ehh I’m a penny pincher so I think I can wait a week longer. Same reason I haven’t picked up Anarchy Reigns yet…
Yup impressed with how well received the game was in Japan(if the game is #1 arcade fighter in Japan then not too surprised it out sold SF because of how much media influence the Persona series has). A full week has not even passed i believe when this was posted, like only day 4? Im expecting similar numbers if not better in the West. Like someone said, there are gonna be spikes of people getting into this JUST because its an actual sequel to the popular jrpg series and could care less for it being a fighter. Broad appeals beyond just the fgc and not a hard fighter to start off is whats gonna bring success to this game
Yeah, it had 4 days to post those numbers. That’s how “release week” numbers go though; it’s not “sales in the first 7 days”, it’s “sales in the business week where it was released”.
If this was Persona 3 Arena and Naoto was nowhere near this game, I would main Elizabeth for sure. I especially like how she has access to spells like Mind Charge, etc.
I finally got to try this game out. Just got back from a session at a local player’s house who had the game. Game is actually fun. Button layout was confusing for me at first because it’s anime fighter where the C button is where the B button would be and the B button was where the D button was. That and all the other stuff that involved button combination was kind of hard to get down.
Other than that, Tuesday is gonna feel like forever and I want this game now.
I tend to just ignore the ABCD’s and just look at it as weak strong weak strong. Left for attacks, right for Persona.
While I get button layouts being a problem for some, can’t you just say, go into the pause menu or something and change your buttons to whatever you want anyway?
