i’ve never had anyone message me ever on psn and i’ve heard only one dude use a mike. this bitching must largely be xbl related, cause i main the gayest character (vega) and still get no hate mail.

The majority of the time I feel that people just curse to try to “psyche” you out since they have the power of anonymity. However, if the match was actually good and you acknowledge that people will drop whatever asshole persona they have online and will more than likely turn out to be not half bad dudes.
Or at least that’s what my experience online has been. There have been a few people that whine about “cheap” tactics and have disconnected on me before a match finishes, but I’ve generally had a pretty good online experience with the game so far.
i used to be the same…everything is cool but then i got alittle better…atleast somewhat of a challenge compared to the garbage kid i was before…then all the hate came in

I play with Honda because he’s my best character. I don’t care for him, but he’s my best “opener” (first match of the day/game)
I just look at it as annoying as fuck - I just adjust and show them that shit ain’t gonna work on me.
Real Talk, About 7 times out of 10 the folks that base their game around solely throws are very weak against them themselves, ironic hunh?

I’ve played your Honda, I think. On the contrary, I’ve rarely had more fun playing against a Honda.
I enjoy making people that angry on XBL. I play Sagat, and I have fallen in love with the fact that you can juggle with Tiger Knees. I do it often, usually when I see a person jumping in from mid range.
I remember I fought this one guy, and in the last round I hit him with two tiger knee combos in a row. He just let it happen. Its like he locked up after the first combo or something. Once I beat him, and was in to my second match I get a message. After that match was done I checked to see what it said
“Learn to stop spamming.”
I laughed. 
I got a guy in a fire ball trap, and he got so angry it sounded like he was about to toss the pad across the room.
I think what it comes down to is that every Xbox comes with a Mic, and because of that more people are on the Mic when they get pissed off. You need a Blue Tooth headset to do voice chat on the PS3, which it doesn’t come with, and there not cheep.
I usually dont get hate mail from people, I main Ken and one day i was playing as akuma for shits and giggles and i hear over the mic these two guys crying about how many times i picked akuma.
so i giefed that ass and they cried more:rofl:
in the end i like hearing people whine, it shows that your a good player when you can frustrate people into a ragequit followd up by hatemail composed by a 7 year old girl

XBL ppl do complain a lot more compare to the PSN ppl. I know because I play on both networks.
I throw whenever I can see a opening to. I don’t make it my primary strategy but if ppl just blocking and not moving, they are telling me to throw them and that’s how I see it. Ppl think throwing is easy and requires no skill from noobies’ perspective. On higher level of playing, to throw someone is not easy, often time you open yourself up for nasty reversals or combos. Whenever I get tick->thrown, I would evaluate myself to see what I did wrong to allow it to happen.
By complaining, noobs are just making excuses and lying to themselves and being delusional about their own grandeur and greatness. Instead of complaining ppl should look past their own failings and learn from it.

I don’t know if I’m lucky, but I hardly ever run into whiny bitches. I disable voice chat when I create ranked matches (I like to believe it lessens lag) and even after I (if ever) hardly get bad messages. Strangers I’ve been owning have been pretty mature.
Now my friends. They’re a whole different story

Its true that hold throws can be annoying, because you cant tech them normally and they last so long. Mashing is not fun, I prefer a teched throw

Your freind wanted to get his acheievements , before playing online (wich is what alot of people prolly did) wich should only take an hour to get the offline achievements, makes the Xbox 360 achievement system gay? Ok bud , dont hate cause you dont have that on your ps3. I own both systems , my ps3 only gets used for movies, due to the fact the layout of the 360 (achievements, pesonal menu) murders the ps3. Even though Ps3 is free online I still never use it, I rather pay $60 a year to play a better online expierence. Thanks for calling everyone with a game score gay, good contribution to society.
Getting three friend overs to have them get your achievements is really really gay. You are missing out of multiplayer fun to get achievements on your name you didnt even deserve. I see this grinding trend a lot, its pointless. The idea is ok, the result is often poor.
PSN has trophies to btw. But people care less 
Its funny cause those achievements get you jack-shit, no points to buy additional download titles nor live, it gives you nothing.
When I heard about people grinding to get achievements I thought it might be because microsoft put in some kind of meaningful incentive into the gamerscore, instead it just seems that some people are mad OCD or something.
