Hey, I have 5 of these coming for some sticks I’m making as christmas gifts. Do they come any cheaper than this? $10/each
My only real concern was compatibility with USB adapters. I’m hoping to find a Dreamcast adapter that isn’t $15/unit (eBay is the only place I found even that!).
I see someone else here already hacked it once, so at least I know it can be done. 
I am pretty sure these things are not compatible with adapters, I have several Pelican products (including that joystick) and have never had any luck with USB adapters.
Odd you say that, given that XBox controllers ARE usb controllers. In theory, an XBox -> usb adapter would work just fine. Feel free to correct me on this though.
I don’t mean Xbox controllers in general, I mean Pelican products.
Okay, back up a moment, and let’s try this again. 
This is the pelican universal. IE, ps1/2, gamecube, and XBox.
ALL XBox controllers are simply USB controllers with a funny plug on it. If you hack off that tip and put a normal usb plug on it, you can use it as such (OR, more likely, you plug an adapter that changes from the screwy XBox usb plug to a normal usb tip).
I’m of the impression that either this hasn’t been tried, or it has been tried and failed? Anyhoo, pelican isn’t known for making super high quality products, I know. Just that I don’t care if I use a PSX, XBox, or GC -> usb adapter on this so long as one of them works.
I found this stick to be laggy on my xbox. It works great on the cube.
Try it and let me know. All I’m saying is, every Pelican product I’ve tried with an adapter (including the Universal stick, which I own) have not worked.

YOu can get that stick for $9.99 in the states at GameStop/EBGames website.
I have one of the older pelicans and it never worked with my xbox -> usb adapter. Normal xbox controllers work fine but the pelican gave me problems. it worked fine with ps2 -> usb but I dont know about the new ones.
