PDP Versus Fighting Pad has broken D-pad after only one month of playing

Haha! I wonder if they’ll keep disabling me from playing. :frowning:

Your skin will adapt. In case you didn’t already figure it out, one technique you can do on a stick for rapid press moves is alternating two fingers tapping on the same button. Makes the fierce/roundhouse mash attacks so much easier.

It’s defintely a good thing, but that’s one HELL of an epiphany.
Going from “man, I’m horrible on sticks, I just don’t get them” one day to the next day’s “OMG BEST THING EVER!!!11111” (I know, I’m exaggerating).

Good to hear you’re enjoying using an arcade stick, though. Stick with it (har har, pun totally intended), and you’ll most likely get better soon enough.

Hehe, thanks for the help, guys! I’ll try to adjust to stick. In all fairness I’m still far worse with it than a controller in the heat of battle, but at least yesterday I realised there is even more potential in using a stick (at least with these characters). Who knows, if I “stick” to stick I might even surpass my current efficiency with a controller in a year or so. Not to mention I won’t have to worry about buying new controllers every month. Thanks for the input.

I never get blisters or callouses on my thumb or fingers from playing. Pad play caused me a sore thumb but never had a callous grow there. On stick I don’t have any issues though and I don’t use sliding techniques, I guess I have my own unique tap style.
