PC runs 10xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx times better than PS3. And yes, the competition on Endless is very very good. It’s not on the same competition as PS3 back on SSF4 Vanilla Edition days, but it is still there. I sold my PC so I haven’t been able to check out the PC community. It should still be growing strong though.
I found some really good players (tourney players) on PC community, and some of these players were way better than the PS3 community players.
If I could suggest a good advice to you, I would say diversify your challenges and play BOTH communities. There is riches of good players in both. Different, but still good challenges you’ll find.
The PC version is getting some more exposure from Steam sales. So I would say give that a shot. Steam sells it for 10 bucks, and that’s a sick value. I don’t know much about PS3 version as I have only played it a couple of times, but depending on when you play you can be good for matchmaking on all platforms. It just depends on time of day that has most traffic.
Im trying to give pc ssf4 and just ssf4 in general more exposure with my channel!
I have deffinalty got some new blood into ssf4 which is great Sick of cod being the biggest lol. It’s time for SSF4 to take its rightful place!
I used to play on ps3 but I was to slow for me. It could take sometimes 10 seconds to enter a game and sometimes you had to wait in vein to enter. So I gave PC a go and never went back to PS3. Now since I live abroad I don’t have a PS3 so PC is my best option. Ans in my current country of Japan the community is very active so I’m glad.
Extravagant said it the best. Different consoles = more diversity. You do get your usual first time AE players on both console and PC so that’s to be expected.
the ideal thing would be cross platform play between Xbox and PC but Capcom and Microsoft had other plans.
PC community missed SSF IV when it came out, so the level of play during launch date and also a few months after was low. Only those who played SFIV a lot and players from Xbox community helped maintain competition to decent levels. Also if you include the various PC related bugs, lack of USB keyboard and arcade stick support, it didnt help much.
But now the competition on PC got much better when compared to 1 year ago. Also if you consider that the flow of information to PC is leagues ahead, practicing there can give much better results.
