V-sync is just so you don’t get that screen tearing on fast refresh. You can see it on that 4th test with the characters rotating. With V-sync off, you’ll notice considerable tears.
That’s true. I dunno, it’s probably because of the resolution of my monitor and how much it has to render and such in full screen it just kills it. The windowed one is probably a little over 1/3 to a little under half of my screen, so that could be why. I’ll just stick with my PS3 version tho, because I’m too broke to upgrade my comp.
I tried it at mid settings and visually obtained around 50-60 fps. The benchmark program seems to be busted for me though, recording an average of 0.3ish FPS and giving me a grade of E: unable to run SFIV.
No matter what I do, I get E, even on lowest settings on 800x600. Oh well, I’m pretty sure I can run this game.

Yup, Set the Refresh rate at 60 and V sync on to get the best experience (around59.7 fps) anything above that is too fast and anything below is too slow the only problem im having is that MY geforce 9600 gt crashed on any AA values lesser than C8x  and at that value i get about 40 FPS :s !
