Something about a USB tweaker?
What’s this about a MB team tourney? 2v2? 3v3?
Sango Fighters ! and OMF2097!
damn i wish i could go. i’d have 3 of those games on lock.
Bring a copy and some competition and they will get run.
I’ll be there for MBAC B2, Blitzkampf, and BBB.
Just so there is no confusion, the MBAC b2 PC tournament here is the same tournament that is posted at:

And crossposted to meltybread at:

The PC tournaments are one and the same. Feel free to discuss them in any of the threads. Donating laptops to this area also donates them to the MB tournament.
I should have some more information posted in the next couple of days.
nm I didn’t read all the posts well I’ll see about entering some of those games there. See you guys there.
I ordered some pelican converters(the official converter of the area~) for this. I may make it so everyone must use them in the tournaments. If someone has a controller that ends up lagging on them I will let them use their converter though. Extra converters are always welcome. If we have more setups than converters I may give free entry to someone who provides extras.
I don’t know what options should be used for all of the games, which I will be looking into. Also the version for some games may be in question, which I will also have to look into. If anyone knows for one/multiple games feel free to say. General rules will be the same for all tournaments(double elim, 2/3, 3/5 w/l/g, ect.), I’m just looking for game specific settings.
All tournament stations should be outputted to a TV or Monitor that doesn’t lag. Due to the difficulty in this I might up the reward for donating a setup to free entry into two tournaments(or maybe just the cash). If one person brings a TV and another brings a computer, one free entry to both.
Speaking of setups, I’m looking into a usb tweaker program to cut down on input lag. I’m told it will cause no harm to any computer using it. This program may become a requirement to tournament setups. It’s a free program, and I should have it there for anyone that doesn’t have it if it is used.
I’m considering making everyone sign up on Friday so I can make brackets that night to speed things up. I would leave some room for last minute sign-ups, but they wouldn’t be able to be accommodated by…
When everyone signs up I will get what state/country they are from. I was originally just going to do North/East/South/West, but if its something like 80% west coast for a game, there isn’t much room, whereas if that 80% west coast is split between 4 states they can be separated better. This is completely optional, you don’t have to give your location if you don’t want to be seeded apart from them. Anyone who signs up on Saturday wouldn’t be guaranteed separation from their friends.
Lastly, if anyone wants to give feedback, suggestions, comments, or has any concerns, the time to address them is right now, not five minutes before a tournament starts.
A USB tweaker will be used and set to 500mhz. I will provide the program if needed. The first link in the below post has the program.

Note: When you use the program, all usb devices will stop working briefly after you select what rate to run at. They will work again after a few seconds.
I have some pelican adapters I will be bringing. You may use your own converter if you have legitimate problems with them(your controller doesn’t work/lags), however players are not allowed to switch them on their own, and must find an event runner/assistant to switch it. All controllers/converters must use usb and may not require drivers/anything else that wouldn’t be on a standard windows pc.
First post updated. Sorry for the delay.
