Paul Heath @ Evo?!

i thought HDRemix was lagless on HDTV? aint it ps3 720p? or 1080p?

It’s not lagless unless you have the right TV. Certain TV refresh rates just can’t cut it with 2D games very well. Even if it is optimized.

Suddenly, DreamTR destroys every 3D fighting game ever made with a single post.

I have played remix on like 5 different TVs. No lag.

wtf is this shit? first I see that thread where the OP says some people are claiming paul eath was really a well known pro playing under a false name and now this crap? I could probably think of hundreds of other matches I would rather see on the big screen than John Choi beating on some random person he lost a game to.

oh em gee

its about time for this thread to get super serious

im gonna go out on a limb here guys and make a very courageous statement by saying “this foo sucks.” please go ahead and flame and me and tell me to put my money where my mouth is. go, go right ahead, please put up some money and tell me hes good ROFL!

seems like you old school folks are a bit mad that paul took your prize money.

dude deserved it. its not like hes some random scrub or noob.

were you guys underestimating him in the tourney? maybe that was the downfall?

besides, when did the sf2 series came out? in the early 90’s. did you guys ever think that there still may be some good players left from that era?

sure they aren’t as passionate as some of the people here and many have also moved on in life, but that doesn’t mean they forgot how to play.

Not at all. I only speak for myself however.

I just truly love challenging players I haven’t played before. My competitive nature is second to none.

more like choke master supreme.

Yes, I did choke at evo2k8. But, Choi was on another level that day.

First time I actually had butterflies. Weird.

Good times though.

You sure it wasn’t attraction ? Choi is a pretty handsom guy so I doooooon’t know lol

I kid I kid Mr 56443644.13

Wasn’t Tomo the best Ryu, while Thomas Osaki was the best guile?

Or was Tomo’s guile better too?

I know this a norcal/socal thing but any insight about this would be cool.

seeing tomo/thomas in both of these gamespot threads is pretty disturbing, i know it’s been a while since guile won but can we at least wait for some post release tournaments, gatherings, i’d settle for seeing some xbl vids at this point cause i don’t see anything in those gamespot videos but people trying to look good for the gamespot camera (not a bad thing!) and scrubbing wins out on an unreleased game with whatever sticks were there. Is this really the bar for greatness?

Not to say that everyone took their loss in stride, i did catch up with one player that was pretty upset, i have his .

Why do both of these video’s feel so sticky?!?

You been doing weird things while watching these vids battosai?

Derek

you’ll never see battosai post without mentioning either tomo, thomas, ww, ce, hf, standing roundhouse, or crouching forward.

lets be real here. it was ST 1 match. hell i could probable get lucky and get a random win

This, and the fact that Guile in HD Remix does absurd amounts of damage for no apparent reason.

I bet when he beat him with the super flash kick, he was trying to do the regular flash kick and the super came out because of the tiger knee motion.

i’m pretty sure you’d wipe him, i think it was a combo of luck, and format that got him the win
