Paradise Arcade Shop, LED Joysticks, Buttons, Mods and more

Wait does that mean my images are reversed? or are you saying they helped?

They sorta just do on my seimitsus. Snapped em on and turned em upside down without gravity taking them down. I might glue them when I finish my entire set up to make them permanent but currently they just sit on the buttons and don’t move unless I tug. I mashed on my buttons and tested them out, then opened my stick up again to take some pics (coming soon  ) but they didn’t budge.

Both… i guess? On the board if you trace the pins from the board to a Kaimana J The left most is Data, the left middle is Ground, and the right 2 are VCC

Pics are up, videos coming soon! (Sorry for phone pics)
-note the color scheme is to complement the button art and is not the original colors-
I mounted the PCB on the metal panel of the TE-S with some of PAS’s jamma board feet hot glued to the bottom. This method works and fits well but you have to slide the panel back at an angle.

I used the ribbon cable going originally to the TE Distro Board and soldered them to the kaimana on the bottom. Then I used the screw terminals to wire up my buttons. Because I don’t have a hollow joystick shaft (Sadly LS-56’s have none :frowning: ) I only have the 8 buttons wired up. I’m trying to think of a way to light up the start and select with the Pele’s but the shell get’s in the way so I might have to dremel a bit. Right now with the current code the buttons only light up upon press. I also might have a clue what the easter egg is but I’m not entirely sure about it… It’ll be with my videos I will post soon. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask!

alrighty I’ll note that until I can confirm it with armi

On my second pic the bottom left most Kaimana J should have enough clarity to read the labels. If you traced back it would be:

DI/0, GND, blank, VCC

from left to right

Ah, I was looking at it upside down lol!

So is the PCB image backwards as well?

Now some (pathetically low res) Videos!
They are only a few short seconds that I shot immediately after closing it up and taking pics

My wiki just disappeared! Good thing I keep a backup… problem is it keeps disappearing!

lookin great man, if i get time ill do exactly what you did and simply get rid of the TE’s terminal strip. cool stuff.

and you’re right the Kaimana J’s snap in perfectly on to PS-14-K’s (and HORI buttons lol). just wished i had of full set of those.

Thanks! The mount is nice but putting the panel back on is a little weird due to the positioning of the board and the PCB feet. It does go down but I have to play a bit of tetris to fit it right.

Now to start coding… and I don’t know where to start…

You would know where to start if the Wiki didn’t just freakin’ SINK!!!

The entire thing is gone. Start page is empty and earlier when I tried to load it there was various messages on the top of the page. However if you look at the old revisions you can view some of the previous versions

I fixed the images and everything too… now I can’t do anything with them =[

How I installed.

Ended up gluing kaimana js to the buttons. Small hot glue dabs.

@WOOP MstR FresH is hot gluing the js to the buttons wise? What if you have a problem with one of the buttons later and have to replace it? Just a thought but I may be jumping the gun. Also looks like you have put the board on top of a PS360+. did you have any problem doing that?

Actually… I was planning to use hot glue too… and putting the Kaimana on top of the PS360+ looks cool to me!

Looking great guys, I will fix the wiki tonight

They stick on Seimitsu and Hori buttons as noted by Hibachifinal. They also stick in place with my setup (using PS-14s)
