Gah. I dunno if I want the Sparky or the next LED mod. Should I just wait?

I would wait. What if the new one comes out and is everything we’ve all dreamed of; Lot’s of pattern options, clean and easy install, and maybe even gasp custom programming! (note: these are just my personal desires and are in no way guaranteed to come to fruition)

So yeah, I would wait.

I just want something simple: LEDs to light up in Xbox button colors. Isn’t that already possible? :stuck_out_tongue:

Delrin is an acetal resin, similar to nylon, but it’s much harder and its characteristics are very favorable for machined applications. Back in my RC car racing days, Delrin (a DuPont formula, if I remember correctly) was a good, strong, lightweight replacement for parts that would otherwise be made of aluminum…

In other words, it’s a pretty damn good alternative to aluminum, aside from the fact that you can’t anodize it in cool colors like aluminum.

Ah the good ol’ days - Delrin, aircraft grade aluminum, and carbon fiber were the exotic materials of the era, hehe…

Yes it is with single color LEDs and a FGW.

Well armi did say it was going to be an arduino board so you can check off custom programming.

Is it possible to pickup in-state?

Ya. I googled it after I asked but I dont see any delrin oversized actuators on the site. Am I missing something?

Thanks. What’s the difference between those 2? I assume the ticker one will give the mushy feel to the buttons. I want the snap action without the noise. Is that what the top one will provide?

Also, are there any silencers for the 24mm buttons?

I am in between cases and on my phone so this will be brief.

Delrin, great description, it is also self lubricious.

Led controller will be open source and arduino based, it will be amazingly customizable, we will have a store section for people to submit custom code and earn store credit if it is downloaded a lot. Programs will be shared for free, and can be posted with media (pictures and video

Pick up is possible, call the number on the website

Go thin, and yes 24s are available

Is there an ETA on the upcoming LED mod?

Sweet. What’s the link for the 24mms?

The link says 30mm but it’s for the 24mm version.

So, do you have oversized delrin actuators in the store and I’m am just not seeing them?

Hey Armi, how many Ohms do the inline resistors of your 5v 3mm LEDs have?

Ah!! Armi! What is going on with the site today?!

I keep getting 404`d and when its up, the cart keeps taking away items from me and adds or subtracts random quantities from the cart… :frowning:

Got my X-Busters earlier this week. I installed them in my Seimitsus, and now my buttons look like Candayyyy!!!

Thanks again for the quick turnaround! Looking forward to seeing what’s up your sleeve with the new LED controller. I have another stick in the planning stages, and I’ll be looking to light it up!
