How are the aluminum balltops going to be coated/colored?
Shined, transparent coating, mirror coating/chromed look?
(I guessed right on the aluminum part…!)

Anodized.
Please do black and white for both the bat tops and ball tops.
Polished aluminum option on all parts please
Springs!
orders
Springs are in stock now for JLF, but how about the LS-56? I want to be the first to order some!
Did somebody ask for some more anodized parts…
Next up… Sanwa Silencer washers, with LED holes! great way to silence all your Sanwa buttons.
1-7 - .40 ea.
more than 7 .35 each
Add them to your Sanwa button order, .30 for each button ordered, this makes the standard Silent buttons 3.25 each.
Better yet, for 2.80 you can convert 8 buttons to silent buttons!
Ok, Silent washers are done just made about 200, we’ll have to get pictures and put them in the store.
Hmmmm… wonder if the hit box people would want 24mm silent foam.
That white pearl looking one is beautiful. Shame I don’t play on ball tops anymore! I hope you sell a ton of those. The dark gray on the far left is very nice looking, too.
Now don’t go using the I don’t play with ball tops any more excuse…
Bats:
And did you want a shaft cover?
Need a matching dustwasher
You got me on the shaft covers, those are slick. Oh the mix and match possibilities…
I’m spoiled by the thin profile of Dragon bat tops. Those bat tops are beautiful though. Very tempting.
1, 3, and 5 (balltops, left to right) look ridiculously nice!
(I’m a Seimitsu guy so balltops that appeal to me will always be in the potential “to-buy” list.)
(Seimitsu for some dumb reason doesn’t do shaft covers for their LS-32 line and only guy on SRK besides those who mod JLF-CD kits has actually made shaft covers for the -32.)
Is there any red color that looks good anodized? I was thinking something more along the old Honda Civic “Milano red”.
I do have a red obsessions…
(Still hate the sight of blood, though…)
What about balltop’s size?
Time to go in on that 500lbs. iL order!
armi0024,
The aluminum balltops are going to be the standard 35mm or 38mm size, right?
How many colors are they going to be offered in?
(I’ll be honest… I don’t go for violet, pink, or green shades. I’d go for red, black, silver, “naked” aluminum alloy color – “raw” polished metal has a nice look, white, and chrome/reflective. Paradise Shop knows what will sell I’m sure…)
Lastly, any hints on pricing?
I thought I had gotten bored to death by balltop designs* before but this has rejuvenated my interest!
*(Excepting butteroj’s – but he apparently has dropped from the customization scene and nobody’s now making swirl/Pearl balltops like he did.)
1 million dollars…
Actually we are thinking Shaft covers for 2.95, Dustwashers for 2.95, Bats for 5.95, and Balls for 5.95…
Butteroj was nice enough to share his source and we have debated opening that line up again. It is a lot of work though since each ball top is very individual. We may do a few styles and go from there…
:))
Great pic choice…! =)) ^:)^
(Btw… It’s no longer “one million dollars.” It’s “one BILLION dollars.”
(Damn inflation.) >:)
Your pricing for those new metal parts is VERY reasonable. :)>- :D/
Please do not pay attention to the “special children” that want to pay 3-5 times what I want to pay for this… X(
(Not that I have problems with the pricing on the website, either. I think it’s all very reasonable. Some other people let their enthusiasm get the better of them at times…)
There are obviously a lot of “rich kids” here who do not understand the arts of bidding and negotiations. :-t
I’d hate to see what their winning bids on e-Bay are! :-& 8-} b-( X_X
I think the other guys who have done these and are doing these charge very reasonable pricing.
We’ve just worked hard to bring manufacturing costs as low as possible. It take’s a long time to develop some of the manufacturing liasons we have, and that allows us to do things for very effective pricing.
I understand butteroj was working under some constraints and it was limited production.
I didn’t consider his pricing bad, either.
I would have also liked to have gotten at least 2-4 colors from butteroj before he retired from selling. The Pearl balltops – especially the reds, blues, yellows, and some of the swirls – were very nice.
Balltops have become a guilty collecting pleasure despite the fact that I have more balltop handles than control levers!
Until I tried to sell old stuff online, I had no idea of what online sellers went through to try and make some cash.
It’s eye-opening… and hard enough just to break even sometimes!
The creme of the crop do survive on customer service and word of mouth… especially in the social media age.
