Paradise Arcade Shop, LED Joysticks, Buttons, Mods and more

Hello, was wondering if you could help. Got some budget uilas trying to install but dont light up on a mayflash 09 pcb. I got them to work on a mayflash 07 pcb - had 4.6 v for power source. I’m getting 5.07 v from my 09 pcb, so is that just alittle too much for the budget uila? Im thinking resistors but need help determining which size to get. Havent found the max mA they can handle using resistor led calculator, any help would be greatly appreciative!

Woop, starting simple, red, yellow, green and blue, 6mm threading though and will fit any fight stick.
When they arrive:
Bat Tops: 5.95 ea
Actuators: 2.95 ea (made in increments to “tune” your stick, color anodized so you can identify the sizing easily)
Shafts… already priced
We have not worked with this company before, so we will have to inspect finish and quality before selling.

PS360’s should arrive this week

Pop, those should run on either, did you reverse the polarity? LEDs have polarity so if you swapped the hot and ground they would stop working.

We are putting together a timeline, we have been very very busy building up designs and having stuff made. Our goal is to release a product a week for the next 4-6 months. Some weeks we may release a few products (bat tops and actuators) and some we will not release any… but by the time Evo rolls around, expect to see 20-30 unique items in the shop!

Are the bat tops light weight? Not heavy like toggleme’s?

Just like the custom springs, will you be having a ‘promo’ for actuator bundles? good way so that we can get hold of all actuator sizes and try them all out accordingly

also, i’m interested in the short shaft JLF, might you have a photo comparing the short shaft with stock sanwa jlf shaft? peace.

Hibachi, good suggestion… 4 for $10? We don’t have a short JLF currently, only a long and regular, the long is 3/4 inch longer than standard and made mainly for wood cp’s.

Slaycruz, I never owned a Togglme top. We had these done because we piggy backed the anodizing with the actuators, saving a lot on the MOQ. These will way 52 grams each. Standard ball tops are 30-35, Bats are usually 35-40, 45mm balls are 55g. So the answer is I don’t know what Toggleme’s weighed, these will be heavier than standard balls. I don’t think it’s going to be much of an issue, but will feel different. If you are concerned, there’s always a titanium shaft you could buy:)

No black or white bat tops?

Green and yellow battops for Japanese sticks? I’ve been waiting for this for a long time now; I’ll be sure to order some the moment they’re out.

This is a trial run, if these come out nice, we’ll do a lot more business with this vendor. We have BIG plans if the anodizing is done correctly.

oh, will you restock the shoft jlf shafts in the future? :S

I’m pretty sure the short jlf shafts on the site are the standard height. Then there is the longer ones.

WOOP is right, however… we are working on something fun that might allow for easy short shafts

Harnesses and precut shrink tubing going on the site this week!

so do you have an ETA for when you will ship out the ps360+ pcbs and will they arrive before christmas?

We are waiting, I paid the fed ex charges, have not heard from Akishop, I will post a tracking number when we have one.

Look what arrived!

And actuators…
0.5mm and 1.0mm oversized are looking the best (red and copper), 1.5mm and 2.0mm (green and blue) will be for use with Zippys or other micros that are traditionally tough in the diagonals and require more movement to trigger. On stock JLF micros, the 1.5 and 2 are always pushing one microswitch…

Those look delicious. Like, literally. They make me think of Skittles. I’m definitely getting a few.

The blue looks incredible.

I"m hoping to get them up on the website today.

I have a question about the Zippy/LS-32 “Quiet” microswitch mod kit…
Does it use the same 0.187 wire harness that the JLF does?
I’ve never wired a non-PCB joystick before. Good chance I might get this one in the future for experimentation…

Silent jlf OOS already? Damn.

For anyone wondering the sound dif between Brians silent Jlf and stock:
