The people who own the arcade said that they’ll call me back when they talk to the people who own the mall. They haven’t. That makes me angry. Last time I talked to them, they mentioned something about them wanting a putting tournament, or something like that, in the mall, but the people who own the mall got all pissed. So I don’t know. I would like to have a tourney this weekend, it would be marvel only, because our cvs2 machine is a broken piece of shit that they refuse to fix. I guess that’s what happens when they have a mexican fix the machines. He probably takes the parts out of the cvs2 machine to fix marvel 2.

on another note…advent, dont you think bi-weekly tourneys would be a bit much?..thats more than ppl normally goto the mall in a month…haha…if anything, i think every other week would be good…cuz that gives just enough time between tourneys to get motivated and practice what you learned…anything less than that overdoes it, i think…yea, im sure you were joking anyways, but im sorta buzzed right now and i feel like babbling…

I had a session with Hiro on Monday, it was great, we played for like 2 hours and it felt like fifteen minutes. Also, he played like 20 matches in a row with the same goddamn team:fury: so dull…
but i got the better of him with Sent/Doom/BH a lot. I even got the old doom/bh trap off, with jumping fierce hahaha…

that was my first tourney, it was back in the day when I was using Hayato/Cable/Guile…
needless to say, I got my ass handed to me…
I’ve definitly gotten much better from then, but I’d definitly say I still suck…
I actually played Sanford last time I was at CTF…

anyway, i went to the arcade last night and this white guy was playing with Venom/gambit/whatever. When i got over there, he goes, “here, you can finish up for me, i want to go” with the tone like "i’m too good for this game."
I was like, come on, play me in a game! and he did. and i murdered him. After the match was over, he stood in front of the machine with this dumb look for almost a minute, very weird…

hehe…my first tourney was also in CTF…CTF comp is beyond everything…i play there everytime im back in ny now…and ive gotten raped by everyone there…weird thing is, ive never come anywhere close to beating X, mike d, or sanford, but i came within a pixel of beating justin once…haha…he mustve been half asleep…that was on one of my best days…i actually got a streak [11:cool:] against decent ppl…i even ocv’d AK during that…then the top tier crew came in and owned me…but issallgood…im content with just watching those guys…ive learned soooo much in that place…

If Rock n Roll is going, then I can only hope that I’m going too. My pitiful CvS2 skills have increased greatly, namely because I learned of an amazing thing called hitting your opponent. I hope to be there, and I hope even more that whoever there is much better than me so I can take some info home with me to practice. I’ve also noticed that my arcade stick at home is getting loose. Does anyone know how to fix that?
I hope to see y’all at Palisades at some point in the near future. This should be fun…
