The Netherlands cemented its reputation as Europe’s most socially liberal country today when a new political party formed by paedophiles was told it could contest this year’s general election.

Well this party has been controverial for weeks here, not that they are gonna get votes or anything. But a court has decided that the party may exist under the bravado “freedom of speech”.
However child porn is still illegal here.

ok, now i get to be the ass hole who appears to be defending pedos…
there are alot of people who find they have attraction to younger kids and can’t help it. they actually seek therapy for this problem and never act on it. let these guys do what they are gonna do, its not like they are gonna rally any votes.
i mean personally, i don’t know how anyone could be attracted to an 18 year old, but people are. i’m all about women over 21, does that mean i can call someone else a perv for liking younger? no. i don’t agree one bit with anyone having sex with a 12 year old, or even a 15 year old, ever. no matter the age of the other person. no one is ready at that age to deal with the consequences of sex, but i also don’t need to mandate this to others.
now, i’m not saying we need to legalise it here, but everyone has a right to run under the ideals they believe in, let society thereby vote accordingly. i would never support this, but i also would never say ‘catstrate the perverts’. this isn’t even america, we have laws in place that reflect the ideals of our society. at least for the majority, so let them run and get over it.
