No no no, lemme explain. There are 3 types of RAM these days.
SDRAM (98-2000)
RDRAM (2000-now)
and
DDR RAM (2000-now)
Now the type Brandon has is SDRAM. SDRAM comes in 2 speeds, PC100 (old) and PC133 (newer but as old as mine). If your comp was made around 98-99, then you are using SDRAM PC133. Brandon’s is much older, so he must be using an EVEN OLDER type of RAM.

Thats the reason why the RAM Brandon bought wouldn’t work. It isn’t even the right kind and it took me until now to figure out why.
EDORAM is really old and was stopped being used around 98. So Brandon, your only hope is EDORAM, and thats if you can find it.
